Egg Roll Chef — Restaurant in Tulsa

I called this restaurant earlier in the day to confirm what time they were going to close for the day. I absolutely hate being “that” guy and showing up right before closing, but tonight was a special occasion and it was necessary for the time of events. As the time was approaching, I knew I was going to be cutting it close, so I tried calling the store to see if putting my order in for pick-up would be helpful. They did not answer and I began to worry and wonder if maybe they had closed early and panic was setting in as I made my way to the restaurant. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of relief that overcame me as I turned in, and not only were they still open, but they were still very busy. Which made sense why this phone call wasn’t able to get answered.

I finally got to show my lover the magic this restaurant possesses. I have been going here so far my entire life, and this is the only place in Tulsa that has been consistently absolutely phenomenal. Each and every single time. Large portions. Incredibly hot, fresh, and delicious food. Even going before closing (which they were super cool about), we had to wait over an hour to dig into our meals and it was still piping hot and amazing. I usually love this restaurant but yesterday I ordered what I always order which is Chinese vegetables with shrimp with brown sauce white rice sweet-and-sour chicken my first issue was I was charged extra for the sweet-and-sour chicken that I didn’t know I was going to be charged because the menu didn’t tell you that But once I got home to eat the food my rice was extremely hard messed up the whole meal anybody knows that if you got hard rice it’s gonna mess up your food so what did I do but throw it away and then when I call about it so just say I want my meal replace they tell me I have to bring my food for proof of purchase when I do have my receipt, it’s so difficult trying to get a refund at a Chinese Business not being racist just telling the facts. Let me tell you about this little gem. I have been coming here since 1985...my step-dad even before then. I do know they changed hands once, but I suspect it was family related. Their food is out of this world good! It hasn't changed at all since I was introduced to it. Everything is cooked to order, hot and fresh. Their egg rolls are to die for! We all know there are many Chinese restaurants around, but the egg rolls make the restaurant, in my opinion. If you break these open, you are able to identify the ingredients in the filling.
