Fat Daddy's Pub and Grille — Restaurant in Tulsa

Having read many online reviews, and after moving closer to Fat Daddy’s, we decided to check them out ourselves during lunch on the 4th of July. We received a friendly greeting by a customer in the small patio area outside and an exuberant welcome from Amy, the barkeep, when we entered. After sitting, Aimee came right over, took our drink orders and returned soon after with our perfect drinks. We ordered 4 different appetizers that arrived perfectly cooked and tasted great. Other customers sitting nearby or walking by us also said hello and made us feel welcome. Aimee made it a point to tell us about their daily specials and we will surely return on taco Tuesday’s. It is a bar, after all, and offers a dart game (electronic scoring!), a pool table and a wall mounted bean-bag game and friendly atmosphere! Parking is very, very limited. Their online (Facebook Messenger) response to a question was very timely.

** We went to Fat Daddy’s for lunch on Monday, July 17, 2023, (after a 5 month absence) to have a French Dip and a Philly sandwich. So disappointed after all our visits to find barely any meat/filling on either sandwich, new brand of buns were soft causing the French Dip’s bun to disintegrated in the Au jus. The food was good, my girl wasn't fond of the steak in the steak dinner special but she is pregnant and all over the place with food. I had a really good burger. The only problem was the speed of service my burger took a long time to come out as if they forgot about it but again the service came through and gave it to me on the house. Had two different beers which were nice and cold off the tap including a black and tan which was done perfect. The place was relatively full and seemed as there was only one waitress which really caused the slow down of service. The waitress was extremely nice and ensured that our food changes were filled ( in the case of the steak) but the kitchen either missed the no pickle order or because it was forgotten they didn't see the no pickle order. The place is nice and we were able to watch baseball games on the televisions from our seats. The seats were a little uncomfortable sitting for a long duration but that wouldn't of been a problem if the food didn't come out so slow. Good place but definitely room...

Fat Daddy's has been my favorite watering hole for the last few years. It's been 25 years since I had a favorite watering hole and back then, the owners became some of my best friends.

Fat Daddy's is much like that. The wait-staff don't just feel like friends, they ARE friends. The owner keeps a quiet and regular presence. Quite frankly, the regulars are good company on their own.

It's a bar and grille, so there is the urge to think it's not a family atmosphere. This is a bad assumption. Fat Daddy's hosts parties that are family oriented, business oriented and friend oriented.

I read other comments. The divided smoking areas a few years ago were indicative of how far management was willing to to provide the best environments for everyone. It's gone now, but it's new world. I like how well management deal with the whole smoking issue.
