I hate donuts. I see them as the most unsatisfying and least-filling waste of calories out of pretty much any food. I donât eat them. But I ate this one. I savored it. I had a moment of transcendence that caused my worldview to shift momentarily. They are not a cake donut, or a regular donut... they are some blissful convergence of the two. We got some to take home so that their dad could experience nirvana with us. đ

   Read moreBeen coming to this panaderia for years with my boys as a treat on Saturday morning as we play Pokemon Go in the area. There is a ton of choices when it come to pastries đ„ź đ„. They love the conchas, cakes and a Topo Chico tall boy to wash them down with. As for me Iâm still a fan of the calabaza (pumpkin filled) empanada. I wish there was more pumpkin in them but they still hit the spot with a black cup of Colombian cafĂ©.
