I went on a Saturday one morning when the farmers market was going on, me and a friend went I'm for some decaf, and weird how this coffee shops doesn't have decaf pourovers on weekends, anyways. I was able to get a small americno ($4 mind you) it's an 8.0z drink and let me just say not worth $4 crazy. the decaf was over extracted and bitter even with milk and sugar did nothing to help it. The worse part of this place is the fact they don't clean the steam wand after every drink they make!!🤢 as a barista for 4 years that was disgusting to see, they did not purge it with steam or even wipe it. And not only that the girl who I seen do all this all had long acrylics on ,and If anyone here has ever worked in food services you know that you cannot have long acrylic nails or long nails, Because dirt gets inside the nails which you handle and gets into the food, or the nail breaks off into the food/drinks. This woman had dirt inside her nails and as she poured that filthy drink, her FREAKING NAIL DIPPED IN THE DRINK!! Don't come here for drinks please it's unhygienic and the customer services is on McDonald's level. Definitely never coming back. Note: if you are vegan or can't have milk make sure and see them clean the...
Read moreEdit Update: I greatly appreciate the response from She Brews to my original review. It was well thought out and honestly I will give She Brews another chance in the future. I have increased my rating for She Brews since they were able to show care an concern for their customers and business.
We went during the Farmer’s Market and definitely expected a wait since the market makes things busier but waiting nearly an hour for two very basic drinks (chai and kombucha) is disappointing. The market certainly makes this time of day busier but the shop should know and plan for that. There are only three people working for a shop whose line has been out the door since we arrived. Basic drinks aren’t worth the over hour wait for them to be made at the price which they are charging. Plus they have been getting orders wrong which is holding up the line even more. They have even served the line out of order so that made drinks behind us were served first. It is ridiculous that they also had trouble fulfilling online orders in a timely manner as well, don’t take online orders if you cannot even fulfill your in store orders in a...
Read moreI had never visited Fair Fellows until a colleague recently suggested to meet here for coffee. While I've been to most local coffee stores, I found this place to be humble, and yet it brews my new favorite coffees. The somewhat bare and industrial decor and atmosphere seems that of a typical local startup company, which is totally acceptable. For reference, I think 918 Coffee has similar interior, just without the minimalism. As for the beverages, I tried a cup of one of the daily grinds, the After Midnight Blend. It was so good that I bought a bag to take home! I like to grind my coffee so I bought whole beans. Needless to say it was the only coffee I drank for the next several days until it was gone. I asked Santa to bring me some for Christmas ;) and will be returning for more to try new blends and the food. Staff was very friendly, service was timely, and my meeting was superb... thanks Jim for the recommendation. And if it means anything to anyone, the bag is compostable.
Update: ownership changed and renamed to She Brews; still a worthwhile...
