RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Tulsa

I usually get the burgers when I go here and that's always a hit, but you can't really mess up a burger so I won't be reviewing that.

I got 4 meats to try out this time and since this is a BBQ joint, I felt that a review for these items will be appropriate.

I got catfish, ribs, sliced briskets, and sausage. For sides, I took the safe route of seasoned fries and Mac n cheese. Pretty hard to mess those up.

Mac and cheese and fries were good. No complaint.

The 4 meat definitely have varying levels of disappointment and goodness with the worst of the 4 being the dry briskets. I love Texas style BBQ and nothing beats some good brisket, but I'll tell you now. This place is a disrespect to TX BBQ.

The sausage was okay, but it isn't terrible, but definitely not the best.

The ribs were okay. A bit dry, but tastes pretty good. Enough flavor to overlook the dryness.

The best of them all was the deep fried catfish. I think these are legit American catfish and not a different variant like many other places. The meat had the distinct black veins running through it and definitely had the taste profile. Good fried fish.

Overall, not the best BBQ, but good quick bite with a convenient online...

I placed an order 24 hours in advance for a birthday party. I ordered 6 pounds of meats and needed it at 615 for a party at 7pm. I show up at 615 and was told my order was on its way out. 20 mins later i check in again and the order was actually never placed. They say they will rush but I didn't get the order that I originally placed because they hadnt been holding the meat for.my big order because the order was never placed by anyone at the store. After 40 mins of waiting, I get 4 pounds of meat. I ask if they put pickles, peppers and onions and BBQ in the bag for 15 people , like I asked for the day before , I was assured that it was in the bags. I had to stop and buy rotisserie chicken at walmart just to have enough meat. I get home there is NO bbq sauce and there are literally like 5 strands of onion,, 6 peppers, and 6 pickles for 15 people. My sliced brisket was almost all completely fat and it was dry. Of course we had no sauce for it either. Because they didn't pack it!!Almost 70 dollars wasted at this location. My family took me to dinner at Rib Crib BBQ at 81 on Tulsa as a birthday present since I love this place to eat ribs. It turns out that my experience on this occasion of many (my birthday) in this location for the first time was unpleasant and uncomfortable we ordered several dishes for us to share and have good time and some of them were ribs when the food arrived I immediately noticed that their color and texture was OUT of the ordinary they were black the ribs were over cooked hard dry and difficult to chew and this was in all the dishes we had ordered here.

As I said, I have visited other places in Rib Crib on dozens of occasions with friends and family and I had never been so angry for such a lack of respect for me as a loyal customer. Rib Crib when you don’t have a high product for your customers don’t bring it to the table don’t try to deceive me and take my money in that low and irresponsible way because you only managed to lose a group of customers today and I never recommend...
