El Agave Mexican Grill - Tupelo — Restaurant in Tupelo

The food was excellent!!!! Thank you so very much!!!! The young girl at the food pickup actually turned to this customer that had just walked in from the patio ) without speaking to me at all that had already been standing there right in front of her - as I was standing and waiting beside the customer in line before me to get his food. I was actually stunned because it was so obvious the diss to me that I was already standing and waiting.

After she checked every bag for the customer that had just walked in without finding her order, I then stepped one step forward and spoke my name and she immediately knew which one was my order and handed it to me.

I’ve never had this to happen previously at this restaurant or encountered this young lady working there. Obviously, it was very rude behavior on both the worker and the lady that knew she came in & was behind me in line. I didn’t actually say a word about it at the time, but was so glad to get my order and to see how wonderfully made my order was!!!! Thank you again to those who prepared my order!!!!! I...

The food is DELICIOUS! The margaritas FANTASTIC! This is an amazing Mexican grill that you should be eating at. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were excellent. I got the Top Shelf fajitas!! They were so freaking yummy. I also got a large El jefe margarita, it was huge and delicious. I also got the Tropical margarita which was so fruity and delicious!! My dad got the fajita quesadilla. He inhaled it! The poor thing didn't stand a chance. My mom got the pick your own and loved all the choices. Everything was perfect. Stop what you are doing and eat here!! Update 10/18/2023: went here tonight. My server was atrocious and the food was just alright. I was not impressed. Maybe the service changes drastically from lunch to night service. Great food (the large cheese dip is HUGE 👍), good prices, decent drinks (although their lime margaritas are a pre-mixed liquid and don't seem very "strong," so don't worry about asking for something top shelf because they will just look at you weird). The server was attentive and kept water and chips filled. The only complaint (and it may have been because it was the end of the night) is we asked for the check 3 times and watched our server agree then stand to the side of the room for about 20 minutes before we finally were able to ask someone else who brought our checks.
