Jimmy's Seaside Burger And Wings — Restaurant in Tupelo

While in Tupelo for work, I stumbled upon this spot. What caught my eye was that they had Italian beef sandwiches on the menu (I'm an original Midwest girl, IYKYK). But when I got to the order board, the rib tips screamed my name. I ordered the plate with the fries and baked beans. The plate was a little over $17, drink not included. What I loved about the food was that the tips were unsauced. The beans had ground beef in them and were flavorful and not too runny. The fries were hot and fresh. So the food gets a 5/5. The service, on the other hand, not so much. The woman who took my order did not greet me, she simply came on the mic and said, "Go ahead", and didn't give me a total after I ordered. Instead she just told me to pull forward. I still wasn't greeted when I got to the window. She just opened the window, told me the total, took my card, swiped it, and handed it back to me. I asked for a receipt so that I could get reimbursed by my job. She sighed audibly, closed the window, then came back with it and the food and just handed out the window. I went to Jimmy's Seaside for a quick bite of lunch. Family and friends had talked about it for a long time so I thought I would try them out. I had to sit in the Drive-Thru line for 20 minutes, with only 4 cars in front if me. The only other option is walking up to a window, as there is no dining room.

I ordered a single cheeseburger, parmesan fries and a sweet tea. The parmesan fries were a little odd, but okay. The burger had a sweetness to it that I found unusual, I think it might have been the bun. Unfortunately, whatever they season their food with had me in the bathroom within 15 minutes... and several more times for the rest of the day. I do not react well to MSG or other seasonings that were created to excite the taste buds, like Mrs Dash, etc, or fake sugar syrup that a lot of restaurants sweeten their tea with. I will NOT...

I drove 20 minutes for this . Old wings . They were supposed to be lemon pepper but it’s non existent. I had 4 lemon pepper one of which I gave away …all 4 were dried out and old with barely any lemon pepper on them and 4 honey gold . They were mediocre, the same old wings , the sauce saved them a bit.

The fries and burgers for the others were hot , the fries were the only thing cooked fresh to order .
