Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Tupelo

To say that I have been thoroughly impressed with Marco’s the two times I’ve ordered takeout from there would simply be an understatement. If you like plentiful options, great prices with coupons to boot, large portion sizes, and just overall good food, this is the place for you. As someone who has eaten a strictly low carb/keto diet for over three years, it’s so nice to see customizable pizza bowls on the menu. Cauliflower crust is an added bonus when I’m craving extra carbs, although I haven’t gotten to try it yet. Marco’s was out of the dough for cauliflower crust tonight, so the manager called to offer me something else. He had to re-do my entire order and accidentally took off the coupon for my fiancé’s pizza. When we arrived to pick up our order, I brought this to his attention. He ended up comping the entire order for our troubles! Kindness really goes a long way on both ends, so be patient with new establishments, and if there’s ever an issue, allow them the opportunity to right their wrongs before completely writing them off. If I HAD to give a critique, it would be to pay closer attention to the “light cheese” customization. I completed a Take-Out order over the phone with Antwan and received 5 Star Service from this young man from the time I called in my order and asking about specials to the time I came in personal contact upon picking up my order. Antwan was very polite and assisted me to complete the order for my Gluten Free daughter. I was very happy with Antwan's knowledge of the Cauliflower Crust. My order number was #133 on 08-01-2024. Upon reaching Marco's Pizza on West Main St Tupelo I walked in and approached the counter where Antwan greeted me with a smile and asked how he could help me. Walking me through the check out process and thanking me for my order and wishing me a good afternoon. Our whole conversation was great. I will diffently come back to Marco's Main St Tupelo because not only was the Service with Antwan a 5 star experience, the food was very good. a thumbs up to the team for making my experience from beginning to end great and my daughter loved her Gluten Free Pizza. I also wanted to mention that Mark had come by Dwayne Blackmon Chevrolet a while back and delivered some courtesy pizza's and that is the reason I chose to make a purchase when thinking of pizza for my family. When they first opened the service and quality of food I ordered was GREAT!! I’m assuming that the trainers that come to open new stores were there and that’s why everything was together the way it should be. I have gone 3 times since then and every time was worse than before. Once I ordered cheesy bread and when I tell you I was given a loaf of bread with a sprinkle of cheese is an understatement! I ordered the Calzone and it had no cheese, it was dry and overcooked. I fed the food to my dog Snow and even he didn’t eat it. My husband went Friday night because the wings he had once were good. When he got there, the order was wrong. It took him a good 5 minutes to get someone’s attention at the window so he could let them know it was wrong. He was told they would fix the order and bring it out to him. He sat in front of the store at good 15 minutes, I told him to go inside. He said when he walked in there were about 8 workers In the back customers in the front, and when he asked about his food they had been sitting there getting cold.
