the drive through will ALWAYS ask you to "pull up", even if the restaurant is EMPTY of other customers. McDonalds corp would close this location if they cared about customers at all. Picking up trash to eat from some back alley garbage can would be an improvement versus going to this location. Food cold, unfriendly employees, seemingly never a manager who is ANY better than their worthless employees...and if they're going to ask you to "pull up" EVERY SINGLE TIME you use drive through, then why for God's sake don't they just serve the stupid food out there in the parking lot like a sonic or bumpers?! Because THAT's where you're going to be given the food anyhow: at the end of the line, in the parking lot. So just close the drive through window and have every order brought to the parking lot after you pay. Idiots. I don't know who helped them dial the phone number to get the job. I don't go inside any longer because i'm afraid i'll be so angry that i'll choke an employee and be forced to cook my own food.
Forget getting ice cream as their machine is always "broken". Forget getting southwest dressing for the Southwest grilled chicken salad, because all they have is ranch. (If you asked for ranch, they'd probably be out of it). In the Rarest event they actually HAVE southwest dressing (literally 1 of every 3 trips there),These morons actually ask you "what type dressing with your southwest salad"? Just like they're supposed to teach in their training: southwest dressing goes with your Southwest Salad.
My last trip there, I spent 15 min waiting for my food, of course, outside in the parking lot, after being asked to pull up. At that time, there were no customers visible inside. There were no cars in front of me, and 2 or 3 had come behind me in the drive through. 15 min!! What are they doing besides ignoring customers if there is no one else inside and so few cars behind me? I was mad enough, i have gone online to submit feedback directly to corporate. I'll return to this site for update if they even respond. But don't take my word for the west main tupelo location is: go there and see for yourself.
Here's the sad part: the southwest grilled chicken salad is actually a healthy choice, even reading the nutrition label on the salad dressing. Their caramel frappe' is as good as gourmet, albeit sweeter than starbucks, but I like it. The corporation has ability to deliver quality food. Sadly, it apparently won't ever be from their west main tupelo location. Horrible food fitting for a horrible city that offers very few decent dining choices anyhow. But again, don't take my...
Read moreThis business needs to be closed down!!! They need to start firing from the main office, general management, and all the managers on the floor except about 1. They fight in the business and no one gets fired because there friends, half if not all needs to be taking a drug test but if they do that the company will definately be CLOSED!! The food is horrible, the staff is slow and loud, they talk amongs themselves instead of getting the orders out and when they do its the wrong order. The cashiers on the front are very HORRIBLE!!! You have one just walking around the lobby talking to the customers instead of helping the other girl at the front , the other girl in the front is rude. I wouldnt spend my time, or hard earned money to eat here. They want you to comment on the facility and the staff like it's a great place. They only clean, wash there hands, or actually do the right thing when the man R comes there and the other people they think are coming thats important. Staff steals food out the freezer, eats food, take food without paying, and some if not all the adults/managers act like kids and argue amongst each other in front of guest which is very rude and...
Read moreBeen getting shakes with a gross amount of syrup in them. As someone who is very experienced, especially in McDonald's, I called the store to talk to the manager who seems to not know how to keep her shake machine running according to McDonald's standard -- she was very rude, told me that I needed to come work and get experience before I informed her that I am, and am also ServeSafe. This restraunt has been added to a list of "non-friendly-restraunts-in-Tupelo."
Gain some manners. Do your job right, learn when to use those books/training documents on hand, they are not there for the crew only -- management needs to be trained professionally or replaced with an actual experienced/reputable person.
Too many jobs available for anyone to have been talked to like that this morning.
We will be paying the extra to order at the McCullough location...
