Burger King — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

9:45 on Saturday morning July 9th 2022 went through the drive-thru had to repeat our order several times was told for a cup of ice it would be the price of a small soda we told them we did not want it the lady then told my husband he did not need to be rude with her she was just trying to repeat his order the order was not right we then told her to never mind call the store spoke with the manager the manager informed me that my husband was rude that they had him on loudspeaker which he was not rude manager informed me that it was the lady's first day one the job. what fast food restaurant puts a lady on the drive-thru by herself on her first day of employment makes no sense to me! then I asked the manager for the district manager's phone number, she informed me that she was not talking to me and she hung up on me I called back she was yelling and screaming and told me to find the phone number myself! I never once raised my voice to her while I was on the phone with her nor did my husband. Very poor...

We visit this location fairly often because it is convenient and my son loves BK.

My major complaint is that this is a fast food restaurant. BK has an app that allows you to order ahead as do most fast food locations. The presumption is that if you preorder and prepay, your order will be ready when you arrive.

This location has never ever delivered food at the drivethru window, regardless of whether you order at the speaker or order ahead. They always ask you to pull forward and wait for your food to be brought out to you. 100% of the time. The wait can be either a couple of minutes or up to 15-20 minutes.

What is the point of ordering and paying ahead if they don’t even attempt to prepare it until after you arrive?

Even the most upscale restaurants that allow take out prepare your food so that it is ready when you arrive.

I can understand an occasional wait or delay anywhere. But always at a supposed fast food restaurant? ...

When I initially got my order from the window I noticed that the impossible whopper looked burnt. She said that's how they are when I showed it to her. I told her I eat them all the time so she took it back and had us pull around the front to wait. I go back in to wash my hands so I wait for my burger. She gives it to me and I ask does it have cheese. She ask the person who prepared it and they said yes. I pull off and immediately noticed no cheese that I paid extra for and then I am so hungry I just bite into it and it's BEEF AND NOT THE IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER. This is a problem because I don't eat beef and haven't eaten it in years. So money totally wasted. Tea also tasted not like sweet tea. Not sure what it was. The fries were also cold. Super disappointed. I typically don't send food back because of fear of retaliation but I this time I did and ended up not having anything to...
