Jalapeños Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

It was our 7 year old baby girl's first time eating Mexican food and she was scared to try something new at first, but fell in love with it quickly after trying it. I didn't snap any pics this time, but definitely will next time.

Service was amazing and very friendly. We also enjoyed the music playing. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon lunch with just our immediate family.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone who would love to try Reall Mexican food for the first time. This was our first time as a family earring at a REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT. I'd been wanting to for years, but hadn't quit found the right place to try as I am sorry picky about the vibe during a first impression.

My question after this experience is...What was I ever doing at Taco Bell and Taco Casa? No shade, but this place was off the chain!!! Definitely going...

Very upset today at Jalapeno's. I usually love this place and the crew. But, today the service was awful, we did not get our chips and salsa until we flagged someone down, then after eating some of it, there was a hair in our salsa, the manager was not friendly, the margarita had a bad lime in it that looked like it had been sucked and the manager never said he was sorry about the hair and never checked on us. We had to hunt him down. We even needed our table cleaned up after a slight spill and no one came over. The hostess was not kind either when we told her what happened. She was quit rude. Today is 11/10/23 at 12:30. We would have at least liked an apology or our meal or margarita's comped. Very disappointed and not sure we are going back and we have been going at least 3 to 4 times a week. It has defiantly become our place,...

I usually love this restuarant at the five point location. However, my experience this time was not pleasant. My server had no limes on our pitcher nor glasses. My queso was served in a monkey dish and I was about to be charged full price for it. My fajitas were not sizzling at all when they hit the table. Not at all. They had to be sitting for a while in order for the sizzle to die. The manager was the one who ran the food out to us so honestly I am appalled. My pitcher was literally brown from all of the hand poured tequila they put in it to break up the stiffness of the freeze machine. I will never return to this location. Total Dissatisfaction. I left over half the pitcher on the table....
