We ordered standards (hard shell tacos and a taco salad). Both of which can be easily compared with other locations offering the same. It was absolutely the worst experience by far I have ever had. Maybe some of their non-standards are fine but don't even think about expecting much from a trio of crispy tacos or a taco salad. I've seen amazing taco salads in the past that make you wish you had ordered one instead of whatever you ordered instead. Theirs was tiny and fairly empty. The same can be said for the crispy tacos. Hardly any contents and the shells weren't even decent. As far as atmosphere, the acoustics are really really bad. With hardly anyone in the location, it sounded packed. It sounded like a subwoofer was let loose and on the run. Total insanity. Very uncomfortable even before the food arrived. By food i mean snacks. One star seems too high for this experience. Based upon other reviews of a different location I had really high hopes for this new business. Can they fix it...if they can't afford to increase portion sizes they can raise prices to the point were the plates are overflowing. Not just quantity though, quality matters too so be careful. People expect their tacos and taco salads to have lots of ingredients not just to be larger. Without some serious research into other reviewers experiences about what to order that does work I will not return to try again. If you can't handle a basic set of tacos or taco salad why trust you with...

EDIT: Not only were there all of the issues in the original review below, but they also overcharged our card by $4.00 even. Hopefully this can get resolved with no issue.

EDIT 2: The extra charge was refunded in cash no issues but with how casually and non-nonchalantly the issue was handled and the behavior of the staff, I wouldn't trust them with any payment method again, even if the food and service is good.

We won't be eating here again. If you are actually hungry this place isn't for you. Both of us ordered the ground beef chimichanga. First off, the portion size was not good, we both left still very hungry. It wasn't even a lunch portion, since it was on a Sunday and they don't serve the lunch menu on Sundays. The portion was more like a light snack than a meal, and for almost $30 that is just not worth it.

Secondly, the food was extremely salty. The beef was salty, the wrapper was salty and even the cheese sauce is salty. I like salty food and it was almost too much for me even.

The music was way too loud, and it created a boom boom boom base sound. I thought it was a car outside at first until my wife pointed out that no, it was in fact coming from inside. Extremely annoying.

The service was just okay, good enough. I could buy a lot of salt for the $30 we spent on those two chimichangas. They are trying way too hard to be "upscale". They need to get back to basics, and master...

This is a good spot for something different if you're feeling like it. Not your typical Mexican atmosphere, feels a bit more high end and even has a cool photo op spot, I'll add some pictures for reference.

Now onto the food and overall experience.

The food was good. Don't expect to leave with an extremely full stomach. The portion sizes are decent, more in par with what you would get at a fine dining restaurant than your average Mexican restaurant. The prices are on the higher end for what you get, but the flavor makes up for it. Rice could use a bit more flavor though, it was a bit bland. Also the portion for the free chips should be a but bigger IMO. Drinks are pricey. Margaritas could use a bit less alcohol. Desserts are as well, but those are worth it. These guys know how to make a good flan! Please try it! We went during dinner rush and waited around 30 minutes to be sat, but after that everything went smoothly. Service was very friendly and fast. You could tell they were overwhelmed but their attitude or demeanor did not change. SHOUT OUT TO THE HOST, DID NOT GET HER NAME (she was working on 1122 at 6Pm)but she served our table as well and she was super friendly taking how busy it was. She deserves the credit for going the extra mile. I would return and invite friends...

Came for dinner whilst visiting family in the US. While the restaurant may look beautiful inside, the food was terrible. Been to many mexican themed restaurants in my lifetime and this was at the bottom of the scale. Asked to speak to the main manager as me and my sister didn’t enjoy the food and he just hid away instead of speaking with us? We waited over 30 minutes for him as he was supposed to be returning soon. When discussing this with the service lead, he seemed more interested in getting the payment for the food rather than hear our thoughts on it? Now we understand why the restaurant is empty- makes total sense. If you’re from the UK, don’t go here. Forget service charges/ tips, shouldn’t even be paying for the food (it was that bad). Had to go to an ATM around the corner to get cash as my card didn’t work (as I was on holiday, I used a different card and forgot to set up swipe payments)… service lead started being rude and acted like we were trying not to pay. Got cash, paid for the meal and left. If you need mexican food, cook something at home. You’ll enjoy it more and save yourself some money for future take outs.

This review is long overdue as my visit was the week before January 1, 2024. I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open for months, and I wasn’t disappointed. All I could think when I walked into the restaurant was, “Wow! This is so beautiful.” I’ve never seen any decorations of the such before and I love the aesthetic of the place. My server Ismael was excellent. He served the food quickly, was very respectful, and had great conversation with the table and I will highly recommend him and the restaurant to all my friends. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one is by far my favorite. Pictures do not do it justice, you have to visit in person. I had a great time, and the food was amazing🥹😆 Only downside? I believe proportions could be a little larger in size.
