Takeout was not a good experience. Was told 30 mins, got there, was told five more mins, waited ten or more (checked out the Mexican convenient store a few stores north that has some cool stuff and they make food in the back if you want to order some tacos) came back and was told, oh like 5 more mins then waited another 10. Staff seemed disorganized like they didnt know what they were supposed to be doing, had to remind them I needed to pay. Seemed like that happened to the guy who left before us too! Gyro was okay, had hamburger pickles on it? Beef kabob was nowhere near what $20 should deliver, and I don’t think I have crazy expectations….4 small overcooked pieces of which looked like stew meat where not what we were expecting. Maybe this traditional but the shurpa had one piece of meat that looked weird (image attached), also notice the single giant carrot and single giant potato. The hummus was pretty good but no where near enough pita was provided. They made some good improvements inside recently, layout is weird though. Service was good hearted and glad to see a family business but they really need to get there process down for pickup. I mean they partially cleaned a table so we could sit and wait but didn’t fully clean it? Probably sounds a little harsh but it was just an experience that I thought a little feedback might help everyone!

Tasty gem at Big Bend and Meramec Station. Shared the Greek salad with my daughter and I got the chicken gyro sandwich on pita bread and my daughter got the chicken kebab sandwich on freshly made house bread. The Greek salad was very fresh. The dressing was olive oil and lemon juice which made it feel lighter but the salad needed some seasoning so we used some salt and pepper. The sandwiches are Huge. The meat on both tasted outstanding. The tzatziki sauce compliments all the ingredients. The sandwich is very filling and so delicious. The grilled chicken on the kebab had great flavors. Unfortunately we didn’t have room to try their baklava. There was a very sweet lady that gave us incredible service. I like the vibe of this restaurant. You can have an intimate dinner or a large group dinner. I’ll be back soon.

As a person who knows most of the menu at this place, I can give only 2 stars because they are trying to this meals, otherwise I will never go to this place anymore. Meals are cold and is not tests like from Turkey, Uzbekistan... Somsa, they serve after maybe microwave, so is not same test. Plov or plav more looks like showla, in wich rice is more smooth. Lagman is not tests like it, maybe they use regular shurva for it. Luyli kabab, kabab are not much tender and not tests like from Mediterranean countries, but I like chicken kabab, only this was good. So, my wife mekes better than they do. I did go to there only because friends said OK place, but it is not. But, server was good, friendly.

I honestly would really like to know how this restaurant has such a good rating. My only guess is that it is due to the heavy volume of takeout orders we saw going out. Dine in was horrible. We were one of 2 groups in there and both of our tables were a disaster. I am a vegetarian and asked if they would make a gyro vegetarian even tho the menu didn't have it. I have been eating Mediterranean food frequently in my 30 years as a vegetarian and nobody has ever told me that a vegetarian gyro was not possible. I didn't argue, just ordered a few sides since the only menu item for vegetarians was a falafel sandwich. My Greek salad came out. Heavy on the oil, not blended with the vinegar and pretty disappointing. Then my boyfriend's entree came out. They said mine was coming so he was going to wait for me to eat it. Luckily I insisted he eat it while it was hot and thankfully he did as mine didn't come out for another 20 minutes. The table next to us was having issues too with one meal being delivered at a time. They also got one that was totally not what they ordered and the waiter argued with them about it and the said they could remake it but it would be 20 minutes. The food was ok, but nothing awesome. We didn't dare order dessert.

This was actually my 2nd time at this place with the last being 5 years or so ago. The service was awful then too which was why I didn't go back. I think takeout is popular because it is all picked up at the same time. We won't be returning. It's not worth the...

This place came highly recommended to me by a random local drunk at the Village Bar. This guy couldn't say enough good things about the place and also a lady actually dining in the restaurant, while we were waiting for our food, couldn't rave enough about the place. That coupled with the 5 star reviews...why the hell not go check this place out!

We had about a 30 minute drive to get there. Upon entering Troy Mediterranean Cuisine we were greeted with an odd and somewhat profound stare from the gentleman behind the counter. After he finally spoke, we could not hear the guy, he was talking in his super duper inside library voice, BUT we finally figured out that he was motioning for us to sit wherever we'd like. So that was a fun start.

Food was decent not bad by any means but not worth the 30 minute drive and or not worthy of what I feel a 5 star rated place should be. I had the gyro sandwich. It was fine. The home made bread was good. My lady friend had the lamb gyro which she said the meat was tough and kind of stringy.

The service was just OK. Only one refill on my water. Had to get my own to go box. Had to ask for my coffee twice. Food was just OK. This place is just OK. If you live nearby then i could see coming here from time to time but thats about it.

Temper your...
