George's Donuts — Restaurant in Twinsburg

This place is by far the best donut shop around, I don't even know where to begin!!! I have been coming here for so long, and things have only gotten better. The donuts are the biggest, fluffiest, most flavorful donuts I have ever had. Everytime I introduce them to my coworkers, family members and friends, every one of them gets addicted! I tell them it is mandatory they go buy donuts from George's in-person because the service makes everything!! The workers at the counter are so approachable and kind, always willing to have a conversation with all their customers. I have also encountered some of the workers from the back up front, and they are just as pleasant! The current owner has so much pride in his company and will tell the world if he could, all that his business is about. One thing I have learned to inform people after a long conversation with the boss is that THEY CLOSE WHENEVER THEY SELL OUT!!! Their business is extremely complicated when it comes to quantity because they have to guess how many customers they will have each day. So PLEASE don't get mad at the workers!!! They have nothing but good intentions for their customers! I dined in yesterday and noticed how friendly everyone really is. Donuts were good. Not excellent, but good. We ordered a black raspberry donut ,but unfortunately there was no filling in the donut at all. It was just a plain donut with vanilla icing. Now the down side to this donut shop is the pricing. 20$ for a dozen of donuts is alittle out of my price range, not to compare to a 12$ box that are better quality from a donut shop 20 miles north east. I know all donuts are not the same ,but I was looking for something special since these donuts are priced the way they are. The upside of my experience was the strawberry cream cheese strudel. That strudel was amazing, but at the price 3.25$. Kind of high for something small. If I could give a 5 star for the employee that helped us I would. There is no donut shop in Northeast Ohio like George's! Even when I'm having one of those mornings, anytime I walk in I know it's going to be a better day! Paul always goes above and beyond and makes every customer feel like they are #1. He has walked me to my car carrying my donuts several times, several other times walking me to my car holding an umbrella over my head. His kindness and all of the staffs kindness goes farther than they know. As much as I love the people here I have to say the donuts are right behind them in perfection! My team was so excited when I brought donuts, but they were ecstatic when I told them it was the place in Twinsburg I always talk about.
