I recently dined at this restaurant and found it to be a decent and spacious place, with a welcoming atmosphere. The serving staff were very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed.
From the non-vegetarian appetizers, we ordered the Chicken Lollipop and Karampodi Chicken Lollipop. The Karampodi Chicken Lollipops were particularly flavorful with the perfect spice level to suit my taste. While the Chicken Lollipop was good, the taste of *karampodi lollipops * was overpowering for my plate. 😋
In the vegetarian appetizers, we tried Gobi Manchurian. It was crispy and soft, but I found it a bit sweeter and tangier than I prefer. However, the staff is willing to customize the dish to match your taste, so be sure to let them know your preferences.
I also tried the Mutton Chops for the first time, served with raita and masala rice. The portion was decent, and the tandoor preparation was perfect, making the mutton pieces juicy and delicious.
Overall, it was a nice experience with balanced flavors and no disappointments. As it was their first day, they are still working to make available all the items on their menu and adapting to customer preferences.
I wish them the best and hope they continue to serve the same or even better taste in the future.
My best wishes to the entire team involved.
I look forward to visiting again and seeing how they continue to evolve...
Read moreHaving a hard time finding a good indian/pakistani restaurant in mass. Originally from California so my standards are high. The food here was really good. Also halal which is kind of hard to figure out. Menu had some south Indian specialities which I wasn't familiar with. Asked for the vada donuts which they were out of. Ordered the samosa, briyani, goat curry and tandoori chicken. Tandoori chicken surprisingly wasn't colored red which was interesting. Ordered everything medium spice. The briyani was definitely not medium, however my friend was okay with it. Only bad part was the service. Had to wait for the workers to finish chatting to order. Then we were done eating, I asked the waiter to clear the table and he didn't. He instead told us we can move to a clean table. I also spoke in urdu and he still didn't understand me. Didn't really make sense since the restaurant was not busy. Stayed to chat for 15 minutes or so. In that time, we sat with our dirty empty dishes on the table. I saw another waiter come by, flagged him down and asked for the dirty dishes to be picked up. He sent our first waiter who finally came with a bin. He then told us we can stay. We said no thanks and went to a nearby coffee shop. They were also out of chai. How can you be out of chai. Will come back for the food but service needs...
Read moreI ate lunch at Bawarchi Biryanisfor the first time this past week and found it so good that I went back with a friend for dinner on the same day. The dishes are prepared from scratch, with myriad options to choose from. For lunch I had the Boneless Chicken Biryani, which was simply delicious--succulent chunks of chicken in a tangy sauce under a thick layer of perfectly seasoned basmati rice and onion. A bowl of Indian yogurt poured over the top was the crowning glory of the dish. The serving was large--I actually made 4 meals out of it over the next couple of days. For dinner I had a goat biryani which turned out to be a little too spicy for me, but my companion happily devoured it. We also had garlic naan. Don't miss that one.
Particularly wonderful was the tall young man who waited on us at both meals. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but he was so kind and so eager to help us make the right choices that we felt like royalty. He also offered us free samples of wonderful foods we would never have tried otherwise--and we loved them all. As I told him, he lights up the room just by being himself.
If you love Indian food, as I do, please do not miss Bawarchi BIryanis. You will not find a better...
