Overall a very unsatisfying experience. My sister and mother wanted me to come try this location but it was far from what we thought it would be. Where do I start… my appetizer was cold but we drove a hour away to come as we heard it was pretty good so I was starving and ate a partial amount. We then waited yet again a good amount for our food. Excited when it arrived we were ready to eat the 5 “delicious” plates, unfortunately for us our food was cold. my niece said mami please don’t ask them to take it back I’m so hungry and tried eating it. (She didn’t eat more then three bites and said it was gross) they took the food back placed it in oven and brought it back out. Rice was dry shrimp was rubbery mushrooms were burned… sigh after waiting a good 15 min for manager Jonathan to exit the bathroom because they stated he started work at 5 so he was still off the clock. No manager was in restaurant managing at the time of situation. The server explained there was only one cook in kitchen and they made delivery orders a priority. While we waited at from for Jonathan to exit bathroom, server Julieth continuously walked by looking up and down at our mother and my younger sister. When I told Jonathan we were uncomfortable with the looks she made to us she came back did it again and said loudly stated “no one even looked at you and lifted her hand in my face. Jonathan did not say anything or correct her or even so much as apologize to us for that type of conduct and lack of respect for paying customers. The only ones whom apologized was Valentina our server and another server whom stated if I was hungry like you are I would be appalled with her conduct as well. Again Jonathan just standing there saying nothing. He rushed us off never so much as trying to offer his help in correcting our very distasteful experience. No even trying so much as to offer a discount or a dessert or something as simple as a apology. In my opinion he is not a fit manager for a location of this magnitude, nor is Julieth a good person for customer service and should not only be reprimanded but fired for having that type of conduct at her...
Read moreFirst time at La Santa on Saturday night for a double date night. We went around 7, so it was a little busy - but not too bad. We ordered drinks, which were delicious (I had the La Santa Margarita & my sister-in-law had the Sangria Rosa - both were phenomenal) and put in an appetizer. We got the Guacamole Kochinito, which was delicious. Now we had been there for a little over and hour and we had to grab the waitress to order our food - which is never a good thing. We all placed our order and continued chatting and eating delicious guac. I got the Tacos Al Pastor and asked if it came with cilantro and was told no. My fiancé ordered the Tacos De Carne Asada and said no onions, no cilantro & flour tortillas. My tacos came out COVERED in cilantro.. so much that it was almost inedible. My fiancé's meal came out as carnitas (pork) - not carne asada (steak) - but no onions, cilantro & flour tortillas. The gentleman that delivered our food noticed his face and apologized and took it back. When it came back, it was carne asada (woo!), however, it was now covered in onions, cilantro & on corn tortillas. NO BUENO. The worst part, our waitress handed it to him and said, "I know this isn't what you ordered, but is this okay?" Stunned, my finacé just shook his head and took the plate. Luckily, the couple we were with had no issues with their food. I'm usually one to give a second chance, but for what we paid ($$$) and the quality of the service we received... I doubt we'll be going back for food. Maybe...
Read moreOne star is too many! We have been ordering dinner from La Santa since they opened and through Covid! As a family we have decided NOT to return! Understandably take out orders will have a mistake now and then. We have had so many mistakes that NOW whom ever picks up the order has to check it before they drive home. This last time was awful even after checking the order before leaving!!!
