Rod's Donuts & Diner — Restaurant in Uhrichsville

My family has been going to Rod’s shop since I was born, and even before. We always place an order when we come home and call ahead to pick it up…THIS time the experience was TERRIBLE. Our order was mainly donuts and a couple of cookies. The staff was unclear on the amount of cookies, so “they called who placed the order.” WE DID NOT PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER & THEY DID NOT ASK FOR ONE TO BE PROVIDED. Whomever they called said they did not place an order with Rod’s so the staff DID NOT PREP THE ORDER & THREW IT AWAY. When the order goes to get picked up, they explain all of this. Our order originally included 24 donuts, but since it was thrown away we were only able to pick up 6 donuts (that’s what they had available). They did provide the 6 donuts free of charge...That does NOT make up for the 18 donuts & 2 cookies we didn’t get or the staff calling a random person to...

Today when I went to Rod's I ordered a single meal they consist of altogether 4 eggs a side of home fries and toast my portions were so small then it wouldn't even fill up a toddler on top of the fact that they forgot my gravy so I called him to get it made right and I was put on hold for almost 15 minutes I was able to make it back to the store and talk to them before somebody came back to the phone it's ridiculous did I spent $20 because it was 15 for the meal and I gave each of the girls at $2.50 Tim and I'm not nowhere near full from the portions that they had given me I'm pretty sure that nobody would have been happy with the portions that I had gotten today I could have went to the burger joint and gotten a meal for a little over $10 and still have leftovers from the forces that they would have given me at the price that Raj charged me...

Need breakfast? I did. And I came to the right place! All the coffee options, and more donuts than the law allows. These guys are quite the rave around here, as their donuts are distributed at local gas stations and whatnot. Small town vibe. I bet you didn't know they have chocolate- peanut butter donuts ...like a real Reese's cup, only it's a donut. That's at least worth a trip. Super friendly service!
