Vaughns BBQ — Restaurant in Union City

We are bbq conesuers from SC. We have eaten bbq all over TX, NC, GA, VA, and SC. And in all honesty, I only tasted the pulled pork and baked beans at the Corner BBQ. That being said.... I prefer good, moist bbq with no sauce. They had sold out if the ribs, and didn't offer chicken. So we taste the pulled pork, and I was not impressed. It wasnt moist and it didn't have any flavor. Not having any other bbq choices, I simply ordered baked beans, thinking no one can mess up baked beans. Well, I've eaten pork and beans straight out of the can, that taste better. They were hard, with no flavor. On the contrary, my mother in law ordered a fried fish plate. There were 4 pieces of fish that she shared with my two chidren, and they all loved it. Since I am picky about bbq, this isn't the place for me. But if I were ever in town again, and wanted fried fish, I would probably give them...

Love this place! I always say I'm going order something different and I end up with same thing. The polish sausage sandwich.....excellent! Desserts are awesome and all homemade! The staff is friendly and it is very clean. We frequent every time we're in town. Highly recommend!! Today, 2/3/24....I did have something different, garlic parmesan wings.... OMGOSH so good, crispy outside, moist & juicy inside. Couldn't finish the whole order brought half home. Can't wait to try the ribs....ordering this week for Superbowl Sunday! **Was there today (2/6/25) and had the brisket soup....it was beyond delicious! Full of flavor, meat, potatoes and carrots. We frequent this business....just love...

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND EAT HERE!! I happened upon this place by chance today, through a series of good deeds, and let me tell you… This place is amazing! Great service, great people and the food, everything I had from the brisket grilled cheese all the way to the prize winning banana pudding cake was phenomenal!
