If you're not from the area, Vantage Coffee Roasters is a sister location to Union City's other coffee shop, High Ground.
They also have a similar location in Martin, TN, about 20 minutes away.
Since I live in Union City and work in Martin, both locations are my preferred places to get coffee. They have the types of coffee you'd expect, but they also offer specialty flavored coffees each month.
And, if you've never tried Poursteady coffee, try their Kalita Wave.
I love that they offer the option to order online. It's super convenient to walk in and pick up your waiting coffee.
I've always had exceptional service and friendly encounters with everyone who works there.
If you're shopping downtown, it's a great place to grab something to eat or drink.
Since Higher Ground tends to get crowded because of its location on Reelfoot Avenue, I've made the transition to Vantage. Not only is the coffee great, but I can get in and out quickly.
Highly recommended for out-of-town visitors looking for a great local coffee shop or locals who need their daily dose...
Read moreMy friends and I have been going to Vantage since they first opened. At first we didn’t really have any problems. Since we go there often, the workers were usually very friendly with us. The past few times we have come in recently however, there has been new workers and they have given us attitudes for absolutely no reason. (The workers were also watching us and talking to each other. When we were literally sitting there doing nothing. We’re not loud and we definitely don’t make messes.) My friends and I haven’t done anything wrong. So, we’re not sure why we are being treated that way. I liked Vantage overall because their drinks were good (although they are quite over priced) and usually the atmosphere in there was very nice. It no longer feels that way though. Maybe this is just a personal experience for my friends and I but we still won’t be going back...
Read moreGreat atmosphere and great coffee! But the service today is what made me want to post a review. I stopped by hoping to find some of their delicious overnight oats for a late morning snack. The only options in the cooler had fruit and coconut in the little separate dish to mix in with the oats. I commented I wasn't very fond of coconut, but the oats were so good that I'd just add the strawberries. The woman behind the counter quickly gave me some other options and brought some chocolate chips for me to add with the strawberries. Sometimes it's the seemingly small things that make you feel extra-special as a customer. She didn't have to do that...but...strawberries and chocolate...yum...it made my day! We are so fortunate to have this quality of a coffee shop in our little town, and such...
