Bricks & Brews is more than just a place to go to grab dinner, have a drink, or converse with friends; it's also a restaurant that invests in the community. Since the Capitol Theatre is just a few doors down, they graciously stay open a little later after the opening night of each Masquerade Theatre production for the cast and crew. Trivia night is a local favorite on Mondays at 6 pm. It's a lot of fun to order dinner and play along with everyone at your table. It's free to play trivia, so even if you want to come in and order an appetizer and drink, you can play along. Bricks & Brews are best known for their Brick Oven Pizzas. The Taco Dreams and Cheeseburger pizzas are my favorites. They have fantastic appetizers, too. You gotta try the Fried Banana Pepper Rings and Battered Mushrooms. We order the Fried Mozzarella Bites almost every time we go. They also have a great selection of subs, wraps, and wings. We go here several times a month. We always have excellent service. Oh, and if you're wanting to watch a game while grabbing a drink, they have a number of televisions tuned into all the major sporting events. It's an exceptional hangout for locals, but if you're visiting from out of town and are looking for a distinct place to eat in Union City, this is an excellent choice. Located in downtown Union City, it allows you to explore all the other nearby establishments as well. Navigate your way down First Street and check out Bricks & Brews.

Dined here for the first time and had several thoughts. We ordered the blackened alligator, the Italian sausage sub, and the black and blue pizza. The alligator was some of the best I had ever eaten. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The Italian Sausage sub was also very good, however, the onion rings were very cheap and generic compared to the authentic flavors of everything else. They almost tasted like they had been microwaved. The pizza was very good. The steak was tender, the blue cheese very creamy, and the red onions added a good flavor without overpowering the dish. The only minor issue was that the crust tasted a bit off, almost as if it had absorbed the flavor of the gas from the oven. The atmosphere was great and the service was very good. We never had empty glasses and the waited checked on us regularly. I will go back. I want to try the wings and will definitely order the alligator again.

This is a very nice family restaurant with several televisions on the walls for ball game viewing. The brick oven baked pizzas are phenomenal and their salads are great too! The craft and domestic beer selection is better than I've seen in this town. The boneless chicken wings are dry and white so I believe that to be breast meat which is misleading. I'm not a chicken breast fan but I am a chicken wing fan. I'm not a white meat fan, too dry, as were these boneless things. We've had the pizzas, beers, and appetizers both visits and will continue to patronize this...
