Pepp'rmint Stick Drive-In — Restaurant in Union Gap

I was not pleased with service .. everything was ok I order and my mother orders hers she's looking and ask what the tapatio burger has it has no bacon the young guy (server) who is taking my order didn't catch his name but he had neon green glasses .. he repeated the order back koo.. well I get ready pull up to the window I see the cook on the flat burner just annoyed and got more annoyed when I asked for my small milk shake that was the wrong one so i let it go.. I see that its very busy and I knowing how it can be im a cheft at a restaurant so I know how crazy it can be .. well anyways I grab my food I turn into the parking lot i park .. well my mother who can't have pork cuz its bad for her opens up a burger with bacon in it so I put in drive again pull up and walk calm inside I then see that the fryer dude is looking at my hand so he knows I'm there to say there's been a mix up.. well it Infuriates the other cook thats running the wheel.. cuz he sees that there's a line out side and orders keep coming and he's worried about taking a brake so im Observing this so my turn comes and the young Hispanic or indigenous girl was very polite and helpful I calming explained what happend and that my mom can't have the pork cuz medical issues well the young man that was running the wheel blurts out your going to have to wait for bacon .. the young girl explained that I didn't want bacon he claimed thats not what was on the ticket well the tapatio burger does not come with bacon is what the young man with the neon glasses said and repated back to me.. the young man then says just take it.. wait what that not what I ordered and I didn't spend no McDonald's dollar menu here it was $33.00 and he ignored me and went on his brake no one asked to replace it or help I waited for another 10mins and I looked at the young girl and told her that this was Unacceptable please refund me the burger and give me the names and number of the people above you all ..she gave me a number and the name was( drew..) my mother and I left a voice mail but havnt received a call back I loved this place i grew up coming here so to be treated in such a way was not ok I suggest that u speak to the cooks and let them know that they represent your business and when they do things like this it makes the establishment...

UPDATE AS OF AUG.13, 2022: My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner after a day with good friends huckleberry picking, they were very bysy four teenagers working,I asked the blonde running the register what came on the Texas hold em burger she looked at me and replied: huh, what do u mean? I asked her again what came on the burger, her response I don'tunderstand what you mean, my boyfriend had to explain it to her she fibally told me,, she asked what we would like to drink my boyfriend said MT.DeW I said a small pineapple shake ( whi h the pineapples were NOT fresh the were old and hard) she said okay I will bring the drinks right out to you, never did, we got our food (which was delicious),we had to ask for our drinks, a family of six came in after we did they got their food and drinks before us, the family sitting behind us was there before we were,, they had to ask for their food and drinks. STEP UP YOUR GAME STOP THE CHIT CHAT AND TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMERS. There were no napkins in the dispenser salt,and pepper shakers were dirty , tables were filthy, chair's scattered, window sills filthy, STEP UP YOUR GAMEWe will NOT be returning.Friendly staff, very clean, burgers and fries very good, one thing I was very disappointed about was I ordered the Philly steak sandwich it was awful, my hogue bun, was not toasted, bun a little on the soggy side, Philly steak was very very greasy, was not good,I was very disappointed, next time I will stick with a cheese burger, tacos are very delicious for the Philly...

We saw the small sign on the Interstate heading north on I82 took the first exit drove into Union Gap. The drive-in was after the peppermint car wash and across the street from the barbershop, bakery and cannabis store. We drove up and ordered from the full menu, literally lots of options, even beefalo hamburgers, which have less cholesterol and fat. The so-called Junior burger was the same size as a regular burger and the standard burger was bigger. We ordered one of each so we found that out. The food was made to order right when we drove up, so the fries were crispy, hot and nice and soft on the inside perfect and delicious. I ordered an ice cream cone and the theoretically one scoop was the size of a triple. The ice cream was hand scooped, and had chunks of fruit in it real fruit! We had an excellent experience for a drive-in. They also had dine in options which appeared to be fairly busy with locals too. No surprise there. They even gave us a senior discount which we did not expect. They need better signage I think because this is a gem! What a nice treat for a spontaneous choice! I suggest you...
