I have never written a one-star review for a restaurant before. And unfortunately this is a one star based off of the fact that I didn’t ever get to dine there which is even worse. But this needs to be said. If your restaurant offers delivery service do not accept an order at the end of the night (but still before closing mind you), then confirm with the delivery service that the food was being made, confirm it was finished and ready for pick up, allow a driver to waste their time go there, and then be completely closed. You wasted the driver’s time and their customer’s time. It’s unacceptable. I don’t know the conditions of how this all occurred but last night I ordered food after coming home from a late flight. All I really wanted was some curry and soup for me and my partner. We waited a half an hour till you guys confirmed it was made. The delivery service sent a driver to your location and 30 minutes later he called me outside very apologetic for the fact that your business was completely closed. Why did this happen?? The last thing anyone wants to deal with at the end of a long day after paying for delivery and waiting an hour for it when you were already starving to begin work is to then have to make food or go to bed hungry because of an early morning. Just want an explanation and an apology to be honest. I hope management/owners see this review...
Read more(Sep 2021) I am willing to increase the rating to 5 stars. The same lady changed her attitude and has been greeting customers and drivers nicely. She also checked the details of the order. No more excuses like not receiving the delivery orders. Also important is that meals have been prepared in time. So it is fair to update the restaurant's rating.
(May 2020) Iam a Uber Eats driver. The employees were not trained to check food delivery orders on their machine regularly. They just ignored it if they were busy. They wouldn't make Uber Eats or Doordash meals until the delivery driver arrived and knew to cut the line of awaiting customers for to-go pickups, to notify the restaurant to start making food for Uber or Doordash orders. The employees were having so many excuses like "The order appeared just now." or even "We didn't received the order!" Once my customer told me he placed the order around 4PM, and I was dispatched and came in around 5:30PM. I got his food around 6:30PM (waiting for an hour is very bad for drivers). I gave up delivering the second customer's order because the restaurant just started to make it after at least 5 minutes after I got the first customer's meal and I didn't want the food in my hand to get cold. We came with our friend's family. My little boy was emotional after sitting down in the restaurant and I was trying to comfort him. Then the waitress came and told us with an angry tone that other customers were complaining about his sobbing. My friend was sitting quietly with us all the time and noticed NO customer talked to her about it at all. All complaints all came from the waitress herself. This was not the whole story. My husband then decided to take our boy out of the restaurant to get some fresh air (And they never came back to the restaurant after that). As soon as they left, the waitress came to our table and commented with a horrible and mean tone that " You need to be aware that others are complaining. You should have taken him out when he is crying!" Excuse me, don't you see my husband has already taken him out? Where does that attitude come from? Where is your empathy, if there is any?
