The customer service sucks and I felt as if I was treated rudely.
I ordered a hot jasmine tea with boba and lychee jelly and as I grabbed my drink from the counter the lid came off and the hot tea spilled all over my hand and the floor. Because the staff was busy they didn’t notice but when I tried to re-secure the lid it kept popping off. Then I grabbed a new lid thinking it was just the one faulty lid but the new one also popped off. So I tried to ask them to seal it.
First I came back to the counter and said excuse me, maybe they did not hear me but they did not notice so I said excuse me again louder and they finally asked me what I needed but without even looking at me. I tried to ask them if they can seal the cup because it kept spilling on me. But the lady rudely cut me off and just said no without explaining why. I couldn’t even explain that the drink had spilled on me. So then I asked if I can switch cups and they said yes but did not hand me a new cup. So I grabbed a new cup and lid over the counter myself and fixed the drink. Funnily enough the new cup had been used before I think because it had the name Nina on it so I am not sure why they were available if it was used. Or if I was supposed to grab a new cup from somewhere else. Overall I feel lucky that my hot drink was not hot enough to cause serious damage to my hand but I am disappointed with the way they treated me, as if asking for a secure cup was too...

// First of all, I never threaten the employee. I politely asked why we could do this before and couldn’t do it this time. I was just wondering and the guy rudely said huh who was the person who served you exactly. So then I responded back that oh I remember is a female. And he asked who is that female. How am I able to know lol Then I thought okay fine and asked that did you guys change the owner? Because I could add the topping to other cup last time so I wondered. ( I never say I know the owner) The male then angrily rudely said oh so then you know who is our owner huh!? I just don’t understand why he was acting like this. So aggressive. I am really not the kind of person who argue with others but this male was just doubting my personality for no reason. The topping is just 0.5dollar. Why do I need to lie for this 0.5 dollar? Read moreThe staff don’t speak English. Which made it hard to order. This is not a dealbreaker, but it did make things difficult when I tried to ask them for certain things. They also upgraded my drink without my knowledge and gave me a reusable logo cup. I couldn’t figure out why a bubble tea was $9 as I saw on the menu it was $5. But wasn’t getting anywhere when I tried to ask. So I just paid. But when I got the reusable cup… it made sense. None of the Asian customers got a reusable cup. So I was definitely up charged and my naivety was taken advantage of. As for the drink itself… it was gross. I drink a lot of bubble tea and this is the first time a mango tea tasted nasty. But even this I don’t hold it against them as they may just have a different method or it might be more suitable for other customers. But there was 3-4 girls working inside and I still had to wait 15-20 minutes for my drink. And there was only one person in front of me. The whole experience wasn’t pleasant.
