Maniac Mike's is always a favorite breakfast spot. Sunday, 10th of Aug 2025 we ate inside, for the first time because we didn't want to wait for an outside table. We arrived around 8:15 a.m. & the wait for an outside table was around 20 min. If you want to sit outside, you need to arrive earlier on a Sunday morning. You're still able to see the planes from inside & its quieter indoors. It gets a tad bit loud when you're sitting outside: there's the noise of the planes taking off & landing & people are all talking & the kids are all excited to see the planes. Food was delicious as usual. Hubby had the chorizo burrito w/ tater tots & I had the grilled turkey sandwich with avocado & potato salad. I'm not much of a fan of breakfast, so I usually order a sandwich. Our food came out quickly, even though they were busy. I love how the food comes to the table still HOT from the grill. They don't leave your food sitting 'til it's slightly warm like some other places. Charlie was our server & she is always top notch. Shes right on it when you ask for a glass of water & then again when you ask for extra napkins cuz youre a messy eater like l am. I loved watching her interact with all of the customers & the other servers. The staff is always in a great mood. Smiles & welcoming hellos. The waitresses are very sweet when they interact with little kids. One little boy ran up to a waitress to give her a hug & show her his Buzz Lightyear toy & explain how he makes it light up. This is one of our favorite local...
Read moreManiac Mike's is a go to breakfast place for myself. I am a huge fan of cars and planes so getting to watch an active runway during breakfast is phenomenal for me and all the other children at heart or in age present. The food and service here are impeccable, Charlie runs a tight ship. Everyone is friendly and you can feel the care in what you eat and the environment around you.
This is possibly the best place to bring young children for breakfast. Watching the children's excitement at watching a plane take off gets me everytime. I may not have any of my own but going here and seeing them clap in excitement or run as fast as their little legs can go makes me want a child of my own to bring here. This is an active airstrip so parents be warned, you do need to keep a close eye on your children. There are no true barriers between you and a runway. That said I have never seen a kid cross the line to actually go out there.
I can not emphasize enough how much this breakfast and a show lights up children. And what better way to foster a love for the aerospace industry than breakfast with...
Read morePicture this, we took a guest to celebrate his birthday at this restaurant we’re put on a waitlist for approx. 20 in a half empty restaurant After complaining about the wait, we were seated but we had to look for a waiter for the menú After we got our menu’s we had to look for the MIA waiter again to take our order Despite getting there first, others around us got served before we did the waiter who brought our drinks thought throwing the drinking straws was funny
The food was cold and tasted like the service, terribly bad, the gravy was artificial, the French toast was dry and the sausages we overdone on the outside and almost raw on the inside. paying customers should not be expected to be disrespected with such blatant disregard from passive aggressive and tacky restaurant employees. Perhaps that is why maniac mike is located far from view and purposely hidden due to the embarrassment of such...
