Burger King — Restaurant in Upper Darby

I went today with my mom to try out this Burger King because we are big fans of Burger King. Dissatisfied with the taste of the original chicken sandwich as it was very salty and went to tell the young female black cashier/employee 1 (did not get her name) who then told employee 2(skinny young black female with a puffball hairstyle and braces who I did not get her name) that I would like a replacement. And I was told by employee 1 that employee 2 will be right with me when it’s ready. I’m waiting and waiting and no employee has ever reached out to me so I go up to the counter myself and ask employee 2 if they are still making it. Employee 2 tells me that her manager said that she cannot give me another original chicken sandwich because all the sandwiches taste salty and they didn’t put any salt in it and there’s nothing she can do to help me. I was very surprised by her statement because I couldn’t even finish the sandwich because of how it tasted. Mind you, I had to go up and ask, because employee 2 never told me anything. Again, very dissatisfied with the service and when I went up there again with the receipt to talk with her with my mom, she was smiling, and laughing throughout our conversation and mid conversation left as we were talking to her. Very rude and disrespectful and I was upset by her unprofessionalism and behavior. We requested to speak with the manager, and the manager/ employee 3 was an older black female with the designer purse, who I did not get her name was accommodating and listened to our concern and asked if we wanted another sandwich (different from the original chicken sandwich) because she said all of them taste the same. I agreed and another sandwich was made, and that was that. Very disappointed with the customer service provided, except for employee 3 who seemed to sincerely helped us. Otherwise, never returning back here. Clean establishment, but the younger staff working there don’t seem to be too accommodating and helpful when it comes to helping out their customers...

Everyone reading this, listen up this place has done nothing but good for the community. Personally, I can totally vouch for this place, being clean, calm, timely, and ready to deliver hot meals. The first photo that I took was poorly taken because I did not have permission, but would you believe that she offered to have her photo taken and I thought how appreciative am I to see great service. Another bonus was to always see that the manager who works there is always keeping the property clean. In this photo you can see that he’s Washing down the drive-through area, which makes for a nice welcome whenever you visit. I hope that this franchise could start a community Outreach with Youth - particularly young boys between the ages of eight and 16. Even if they could work for a meal. It all makes a difference- thank you for making my visit a pleasure each time I get my DOUBLE WHOPPPER. Oh and when the staff says “You Rule” it’s a better bite for my Whopper. Update: empty store, app is not working yet the employee at the counter is so reluctant to take the order and she speaks so low I can’t even hear what she says. She is very confused and no attention towards the customer. I am so disappointed in front of my son. Nobody cares in this store. Sad but true experience
