I went to purchase a living room set for my great grandmother and was told that it had to be ordered in from the warehouse which should take no more than 2-3 days but someone would keep me abreast of the progress. After 4 days an no communication from the store I called in to get an updated. I was given the run around by the customer service representative that answered the phone. First she told me to call the warehouse which I did and the line continued to ring busy. After several failed attempts I called her back and she then made up the excuse saying the system was down and that someone should call me by tomorrow. If that was the situation that should have been stated when I first called in about this matter. Which leads me to believe that it was a lie.
Since I have was not able to get in contact with the warehouse I requested that she did and call me back with an update. Her reply was well if I have time I'll see what I can do. I was beyond done with her blatant disrespect and went to the store after I ended the call. It was amazing to see how much she had to say over the phone but did not utter one word in front of me. It was even more surprising that the another worker had my ticket and told me that he would call me within 30 minutes. Which I did receive a call stating that my delivery would be made on Thursday. It's almost 9pm and nothing has been delivered to my home I've been calling the store all day only to be told that the delivery will definitely be made. The driver should call at least 30 minutes upon arrival. There was no was for them to call the driver or provide me with his information.
Cont'd... My delivery was never made yesterday nor did I receive a call from the driver or store saying why. I've been on the phone with both the store and the warehouse. First I was told that the drivers truck broke down and 3 other deliveries including mine are still on the side of the road. IF they can get the truck working again my order would come today. Each driver is an independent contractor which has nothing to do with why I wasn't notified of this yesterday especially since I called through out the day and each person confirmed my order. So I called the store for an updated only to be informed that my order wouldn't come until Saturday. This is utter and complete bullshit! I'm blatantly lied too about how soon the order would be delivered to my home. I'm disrespected when I'm calling in to get an update about my order. Then the driver does a no call no show. They just rescheduled my order with out one word. I requested for a manager to call me and was told that she doesn't come in until 1pm well it's after 3pm and nothing yet. After much back and forth I was told that the order would come late today. It's not like it's free delivery or I'm not adhering to their policy and procedures. Of course I can't get my money back.
PLEASE LISTEN TO ME WHEN I TELL YOU TO SAVE YOUR MONEY, A HEADACHE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. How do you argue with a customer when your salesman, customer service rep, and delivery driver are in the wrong. I have never ever had to deal with such horrible service.    Read moreMy family and I are longtime customers of Furniture Mecca. We have ordered a considerable about of furniture from you guys over the years. Most recently, I ordered a queen bed and mattress and box spring for my son. Everything was great in the store but the delivery process was horrible. The driver didnât have a mask on and he was very rude. It was my understanding that the furniture was to be taken to the room it was going to be in. The driver refused to take it to the room! The one young man working with him had taken the box spring up to the room , when the driver told him not to take anything else up! I tried to explain to him that i was told they would take the items to the room where they belonged. He said no he wasnât going to do that! He also forgot to bring my mattress,   when I tried to inform him of it , he very rudely said âi ainât got timeâ and walked out of the house. After repeated calls back and forth with the Upper Darby store where i purchased the items and the warehouse i was told he would  bring the mattress, and take the it and the furniture up to the room. He eventually brought the mattress yet he still refused to take it up stairs. Again he stormed out of my house saying he didnât have time for this. The mattress he brought was supposed to be new yet the plastic was torn half off. Again we were back and forth with the store and the warehouse because of this mans rudeness and refusal to do his job. We spoke with a young lady from the warehouse on the phone who apologized for this mans behavior and assured us that someone would be out the next day and they would change out the mattress and take the items upstairs to the room. The same rude employee returned the next day, still refusing to take the items up stairs! He did not have a mask on and was being very belligerent and confrontational . He said he wasnât taking the mattress back and exchanging it, he was just going to take it in the truck, tape it up and bring it back! How awful! At this point i want this guy out of my house! Again we are back and forth with the manager of the warehouse who told him while we were on the phone that he had to take the items up to the room and he was to bring another mattress back! Finally he relented! While taking it up he made some disparaging remarks about we caused all this for nothing, that the items werenât even that heavy! He continued to mumble under his breathe to the point that my dad told him to just shut up and do his job! Enough was enough! He also didnât have a mask on until we talked to the supervisor and told her that was an issue too. He was yelling and cussing in our home with no mask on in the mist of the coronavirus. Now we all must go and get tested. This  experience was so disturbing  to me and my family that although we have been loyal customers for years we donât think we will be back.    Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!! I received a call saying my delivery was on its way. A full week before it was supposed to be delivered. Wasn't expecting it hadn't put my old one out yet. They argued with me up and down as to when it was supposed to be delivered Which was 2 weeks after the purchase and it was a whole week early. Told them to bring it when it was scheduled. I was advised by my sister who also had a bad experience with them to call and verify the delivery. Went to the store confirmed the delivery for the 3/4/2017. My sister told me no call the warehouse , they do the deliveries. So I did. I called they guy said weren't you delivered last week? I said no it was for today. Mind you the store already confirmed that I was on the schedule for the day. He said OK and put me on hold. Came back on the line and said we had special ordered one of your items and it has not come in yet. I said how is that possible when u called to confirm the delivery last week? He placed me back on hold then said he was going to call me back after found out the full story. He called me back about a minute later and said sorry that was what he was first told. Also the trucks were out for the day already so my delivery would not be today. Eventually scheduled my delivery for 9-1 Sunday. They came at 5:30 pm without all my items and said they were only told about the dining room not the living room. I called the store immediately and was told I would receive a call back. During all of this nothing has been communicated to me as to why they are late or what's going on with my other items. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND FURNITURE MECCA TO ANYONE. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE NEITHER THE WAREHOUSE OR THE STORE KNOWS WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. On top of that I was promised payments would not be due till 2 weeks after the delivery date. I was informed by the leasing company that they were notified that the living room was delivered. (On the day I was called to confirm)
