I was greeted by a gentleman with his high school (Friere) shirt on instead of a uniform. He was just as dingy looking as you can imagine, looking like he totally forgot about any hygiene efforts since he was like 3 years old. I informed him that the sweet tea tasted like water. he got an attitude and snatched the cups back. another young lady appeared and told him to replace the drinks. she had to tell him more than one. he then got upset because i asked him not to stick his bare hands in my cup before filling them. when the manager approached he wouldn't let me fully explain, afterwards turning to announce to the enitre staff telling them, "shes being petty at the window. all of yall need to put a smile on your face so that she can be happy." He was a short chubby guy with died brown hair and VERY feminine with a stained shirt like he was in the back drinking mac sauce out the bottles.. my fries were cold and rubbery, and my sandwich looked like they just threw it together. This was by far the worse service I've ever gotten at this location. The drink machines at the drive through were broken so they had to fill my cups around the corner. i was so unsure of the situation that i was scared to even consume the beverage not sure if they had done anything to it out of sight. I'll never visit this...
Read moreThis McDonald's is near the heart of the 69th street shopping area so there is much foot traffic. As such, there is plenty of dining area on the main floor and even better, additional dining space upstairs where the restrooms are located. Since there is a great deal of foot traffic, I have found the drive-thru to be the quickest and best option for me personally at this location. There are hardly any cars in the drive-thru queue - if any at all. This McDonald's is prompt and efficient with drive-thru orders. My food is usually ready by the time I get to the second (pick-up) window.
On one of my visits, I did see a staff member get overwhelmed. She was just not having a good day - I could tell. Everyone on staff is very genuine so I knew this incident was not a reflection on the establishment or how the employees behave. After I left with my food order, I went to Rite-Aid across the way and bought this staff member some chocolate. I brought it to her later and I essentially made her day.
I have seen the dine-in/take-out counter overloaded with orders with customers waiting a bit. Although, the staff and management do their best to get your orders out as soon as possible.
I have never had a problem with this location but if you can, the drive-thru is the best option here -...
Read moreI haven't eaten at McDonald's in over 10 years, but I had a taste for a fish filet sandwich. Bad mistake, nit only did I sit in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. From the time I pulled into the drive thru that was 12 minute wait, them by the time I got to the window to pay, that was another 6 then to the window to pick up my order was 12 minutes. The soda I should have left when I realized the soda machine was acting up, I asked for light ice and got heavy ice, but I said okay, I'm not gonna trip even though I had to ask for my drink twice and hand her back someone else's order. When I got my food, I left. Well, when I decided to finally eat my food, which was 5 minutes later, my fries were Lukewarm, and the fish filet was so overcook that I must have gotten one that was sitting for a while. I asked for extra tartwr sauce, so there is no way when the person that added the sauce did not see that the fish was overcooked or old. I would have taken it back, but by me sitting so long, I had to pick up my my daughter in 10 minutes and take her to an appointment, so I had no time to take it back but one thing for sure and two things for certain, I will never go back to this...
