Ordered Breakfast items (eggs & pancakes, French toast/eggs/hash) to go. When we called to order there was no hello or intro to what restaurant we were calling (we have had previous experiences where answering service was rude) but decided to give them another go. Today’s meal was hands down the worst to-go order I received (I even work in the service industry)- Our Togo order consisted of ONLY our minimum food order. We received NO napkins, utensils (were not asked at a pay either) NEITHER had any syrup, butter, salt, pepper on already or in a packet for us to top ourselves. Food was just thrown into box. Thank goodness we were planning on eating at home because if we’re out we would not have been able to eat our meals. Sad. It was also cold & we showed up at the time we were told it would be ready. Twice now we have had a disappointing meal and sad to say we WILL NEVER be recommending or going back. Hope this review brings awareness to putting more care into meals whether they are dining in or taking out!

Trust the reviews (Glad I did!) It's good breakfast food. I had the biscuits & gravy with potatoes and a side of scrambled eggs w/cheese (order from a variety of cheeses). My bf had grits, Belgium waffles w/a side of ham. The grits needed a lil sugar & butter. The biscuits & gravy were very tasty though (not overly salty and nice and thick). The potatoes were good as well (not overdone or dried out). They even had the Tabasco I requested for my eggs. I was pleasantly surprised to find the place opens extra early (6am) and was larger than I thought it to be (some of the pics on here are deceiving). It's actually two adjacent rooms with a bar counter on the one side. Staff was friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

Ughh the food is not good here, each time I come it gets worse and this will be my last time. My egg isn’t even cooked yuck will not be returning it also smells bad too. Didn’t eat it just ate the fruit. Will be going somewhere else for food because I’m still hungry lol Edit: I came here again to give it another try, the food was just as bad as the workers attitude! I asked for the harvest salad but without blue cheese because I’m allergic to it and they said they couldn’t take it out?? You’re joking right. Probably pre packaged not fresh food. My eggs had a weird smell I couldn’t even eat them. Highly do not recommend this place!

I used to be a major fan of the Valley cafe for many years. There has always been a slight wait for food, but my recent experience really left a sour taste in my mouth.

I was quickly seated with beverages, but wasn't waited upon for at least 15 minutes. I was given an apology as the waitress had said they hadn't seen me and then realized I hadn't been waited on yet. I get it, they are busy, things happen. I asked if they had sugar/spenda packets and was shown the sugar canister (other tables had the the packets) and the woman said they had sugar packets, but were up front but I'd have to go get them myself and she told me where they were and left. My food arrived (chocolate chip pancakes and scrambled eggs) and the waitress immediately said you'll need a box and grabbed a box and placed it on the already cramped table. The chocolate chips and eggs were burnt and the tops of the pancakes were incredibly crunchy that it was difficult to even cut them with the knife provided but also too chewie to the point of not being entirely edible. Not even within 2 minutes the waitress dropped the check off and I just sat there blinking at my indelible, barely touched food that I took a few bites of and just left. During this time, to no fault of the facility the table next to me had children (~8 to 10yrs) literally dancing around the table. The place was incredibly busy and it wasn't the time or place for that

I almost never leave reviews-- But this isn't the first time service has been sub par. My husband who also is a major fan of The Valley Cafe, who is known for being one of the nicest people you will ever meet, never has a complaint and will eat literally everything was also really put off by our last experience there as well with severely delayed service, rudeness of the staff and food not being quite "right".

Not everyone is going to have a good day and I totally get that and will always tip very well despite, but the consistency of the service and food has seemed a little concerning over the past year or two and hope that it is addressed as we really enjoy our...

We went in and the "Please wait to be seated" sign was pushed back and off to the side. I ask the cashier if we should just sit down. "Hold on a minute." she said. The hostess came out, "...just two?" Yes. So she licks her fingers to grab the menues and declares, "Come on!" We follow her about 10 feet and she said, "Hold on". We stop. She leaves us standing in the isle, one of us being handicapped using a cane. She walked us past 3 open tables and plenty of tables and seating on the other side of the restaurant right where we came in. She lays down the menues and goes all the way to the back of the restaurant and starts cleaning a table. Meanwhile we're still standing there. We just turned around and left. Finger licking and touching something they expect me to touch then eat just left me feeling a little sick. Then talking to us like we were dogs finished it for me. I don't know if their food is good, but if any of the overtly unsanitary practices are employed in the kitchen as are in the dining area, I would be afraid to eat it. Maybe their...

We will never go back. My father is diabetic and had fasting blood work done. So I figured this was close by to get food in him quickly. Waited for our food for 1/2 hour. They brought out our fruit cup, while the kitchen made a large take out order, 30-40 meals. Fruit cup was mostly dried up blueberries. Waitress said, "Yeah, they're not in season. There was no offer to substitute when she saw my dad only ate the few grapes that were in it. When his meal finally arrived, it was pitifull! 2 poached eggs on 2 tiny pieces of corn bread. It took up 1/4 of the plate. My father got very uncomfortable and agitated sitting in the chair for so long. Paying was a chore, having to move the knick knacks out of the way so I could use my tap pay. After a few awkward moments, I had to ask the cashier for my receipt that was still hanging in the machine. Had to maneuver carefully, getting out of the handicap parking space as there was another car parked right behind me getting takeout also. All around...
