Teresas' Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Upper Macungie Township

Service was horrible. Waiter (an older gentleman) was rude, seemed annoyed and waived his hand to dismiss my wife when she was asking about the pasta. We were shocked by this--my wife and I have both waited tables and would never have treated a customer in this manner, especially when my wife was simply explaining dietary needs. I went ahead and ordered--as we were already there and it seemed the easiest thing to do. (He also never acknowledged her again, and only spoke to me, which was really weird--not sure if it's a misogyny thing or what.)

Waiter never came back after he took our order. Someone else brought out the food. Never had water refilled. Never was asked if we needed anything else (dessert, maybe...or another soda?) or if the food was good. We finally had to go to the desk and ask for a box (the portion was large) and for the check--this was the only reason the waiter came back to our table.

If you assume the waiter was busy with other patrons, you'd be wrong--there was LITERALLY no one else in the restaurant, except for an annoying fly. Still gave 15% tip, as a courtesy, but besides taking my order and handing me a box and the check, he basically did nothing.

As for the food, I got a hot eggplant parmesan sub. Hot sub was bland and had little flavor, but I will give it 3 stars, as the portion was quite large for the price.

Maybe experience would be better with a different waiter, but from this experience, I would...

Read some really good reviews so decided to take my wife and daughter out this evening and try this place.

Seated at 6pm and other then the young men putting garlic bread and filling our water up we didn't have a waitress for 15 minutes.

Polite waitress greeted us and then took our order thing's seemed to go down from that point.

Place had average amount of people we were served our appetizers which were good I mean just fried calamari and mozzarella sticks nothing you really can mess up.

Waited about 20 minutes waitress said they were playing our food about 10 minutes later it arrived my wife had the eggplant which she said was good daughter had stuffed shells really can't mess them up I ordered the shrimp with broccoli over spaghetti with a white wine sauce I was served chicken and broccoli which the waitress swapped out for what I ordered I received my shrimp with broccoli in a creamy butter sauce which was suppose to be white wine sauce and they forgot the spaghetti which I wasn't going to say anything because at this point i wanted to eat the shrimp wasn't done actually really cold on inside so i just figured whatever at this point we paid the bill and tipped it was $92 and some change rather much considering my plate of food was incorrect and under cooked but hey maybe they were having a rough go in the kitchen when they made my food their are other options in the...

I do not even know where to start with this fabulous place!!! From the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt at ease. My kids 2 and 4 are not great with going out to restaurants and sitting still, they get side tracked very easily. We were brought to our table and before even ordering our drinks we were given water with lemon, and rolls. The waitress Millie, she is a beautiful person, she never once disappointed. She made sure that the kids were served first which is what we love and asked for. The food came out and was some of the best food that I have had. At the end of our stay Millie and I were speaking and she showed so much love to my children. My son wanted cake because his birthday is tomorrow but we got cannoli's for dessert at home, since he would have cake tomorrow. She went the extra step and took him to the front to pick out a dessert, would have sang to him if we asked. She even told me to call the next time we come to watch my son make his own pizza.
