My boyfriend and I arrived at 9:20 PM to witness a man yelling at a woman, insisting that she tip the young server at the window “better.” The couple argued back and forth for a while until another male employee opened a different serving window and demanded our order. I stepped forward to speak with him above the shouting, explaining that we had never been there before and didn’t know what we wanted. I mentioned that I understood they were closing soon and that we could leave if that was preferable.
The male employee glanced at his watch and said, “Yup, we do,” offering no assistance and clearly indicating he didn’t want to serve us. My boyfriend and I exchanged looks and decided to leave, feeling unwelcome. We had hoped our experience would live up to the hype, especially since we are locals living just five minutes away and would have loved to find a nice ice cream parlor nearby. However, given the abundance of options in the King of Prussia area, we happily took our...
Read moreId say is some really great ice cream. The hype is huge and when you look at the reviews (if you were like me) you might roll your eyes and think “yea right”. Well I tried it. It’s definitely worth while. What I would say is it’s a bit sweet, so other toppings are not necessary. For instance at my last visit I ordered a vanilla waffle cone with chocolate sprinkles, the sprinkles were way too sweet surprisingly which is not as usual. Had to scoop them off in the car but the ice cream underneath is 10/10. Btw chocolate lovers, their chocolate is even better than the vanilla so if you’d like a treat go for this ice cream! Sometimes the chocolate might be too much in that instance I would ask for a black and white milkshake and ask for a little bit more chocolate and there you have the perfect combo! I would say try the swirl cone if you can’t decide but I’m not really a fan of it as I find I may get an off taste if they’re not completely mixed....
Read moreWe have used Petrucci’s for our client appreciation event to kick off summer for the past 4 years. The event has been held in our office parking lot and attended by anywhere from 50-120 people. The setup is easy - you just need to have access to electricity and you are good. The ice cream trailer is clean, brightly colored and the kids love it! We have chosen to have the sundae style option package and the kids have fun adding their cookies, candies, jimmies (or sprinkles) and syrups! They even have water ice for those that can not do dairy. Chris is friendly and prompt and we have loved working with him. We schedule well in advance to make sure that he can accommodate our event. We would highly recommend...
