I have been coming to this store since it first opened some 10 years+ ago. People have come and gone, there were few who could make my coffee just perfect EVERYTIME. Until now, about a month ago a young man named DEAN started working there. And from the first cup to today, EVERYTIME he makes my coffee I never have to have him add, or take away. It is simply perfect EVERYTIME. I'm extremely picky about my coffee, drink it most of the day for about 20 years. Most times I go in just to see if he is working before I order. If he is not, I go somewhere else. That's picky!! He is always polite, listens with his ears, not just his eyes, and ALWAYS has a smile. In my opinion he is a great person to have in a customer rep. Position. When I say I go to that store, I mean a min. Of 5x a day. I love DD cof. But if the service is bad, or the person has to remake my coffee several times before it is right. Read moreOrder 4 simple coffees, 3 with cream and sugar one black, waited 15 minutes for 4 cups of coffee to be poured while everybody else around me is getting their orders. Obviously the girl behind the counter is having issues with my order. It's a Saturday morning and 5 employees are behind the counter. no one is telling me that there's a problem back there, they just expect me to wait. The other employees keep looking at me like something is wrong when they should be aware of the fact that his other girl was struggling with four simple cups of coffee. In the end, I get my 4 cups of coffee and take them home only to find out that it's very weak coffee! A pathetic experience not to mention the lack of customer service. The staff has no sense of urgency when the job needs to be executed they move in a substandard peace for busy time in the morning and when they do have to wait on you you're given an attitude of "You expect me to do something?" Read moreThere must be something wrong, how come I cannot post no star... I have had the worst experience here 3 weeks running. Today they were out of large cups, last they were out of vanilla flavoring, the time before they had no jelly or cream filled donuts. Six employee's working and somehow my drink still takes 10 minutes to make. Do not get me wrong, they are a bunch of kids, but damn this is beyond comprehension. I never have reviewed anywhere because I am a server and have been on the other end of a bad review before. It's not these kids fault, is there a real manager or owner?
