Danny's Pizza Pizzazz — Restaurant in Upper Pittsgrove Township

Firstly: The food is good. The delivery practice, not so much. We ordered well before 5pm (4:15) a salad, a pizza, and chicken fingers. We literally live right down the road, and should have just picked it up ourselves, but we figured help local business and give the delivery staff some work. Again, a salad, pizza, chicken fingers. 3 min trip per google. Pizza arrived cold...so cold the cheese was already solidified and slices had to be recut. Chicken fingers also cold. One solution would be: buy some warmer covers. The pizza was just placed in car without anything to keep it warm. Now, we do pick up the food now and again, and we see delivery items put in a car, driver comes back in to wait for a few more items. But darn, put that hot stuff in a warmer bag, or dont let it sit in the car until all items are ready. Again...food was good and tasty...I just shouldnt have to reheat everything ordered before the 5pm rush and 3 mins down the street before i eat it. Certainly doesnt give me the 'my food is fresh' feeling or the 'we care about our customers and our quality' ethic. If this were a one time deal, I wouldnt take the time to write this lengthy review, because Dannys had been good. But...this has happened more often as of late, and I am hoping this review will be the spark to bring things back up where they were, because we do like...

It’s a pizza place and I advise you to stick to that. Our order didn’t include a pizza because we were eating on the run, but what we did order was quite disappointing.

Italian Chicken Wrap was not seasoned at all. It was drenched in oil so the wrap was disintegrating - we arrived before our food was even ready, no excuse for a soggy wrap. The spinach was the frozen chopped kind from the freezer section with no seasoning. Chicken lack seasoning and there were not sweet peppers to save the sandwich. Good amount of cheese though; go figure for a pizza place. The flavor was nonexistent, but it was a huge wrap. The Italian cold cut, what a beauty to look at, but again no seasoning. No taste. The chicken tenders and fries were your standard kids meal food- skip them they are expensive for the quality. The honey mustard was the best part, good thing I asked for extra.

The menu might seem impressive with all the options, but skip everything but the pizza. The only saving grace this place had was the quality friendly service...

A year ago, I would have given this place 5 stars but i keep giving Danny's another try after telling myself I am done but being the food choices in my hometown are limited and kinda suck this was a decent place to get some take out after heading home from work. It seems that no matter how much time i call ahead im always stuck waiting an extra 5-10 minutes which is ok when they are busy but not when the staff is standing around most of the time. I use to tell people their hot n honey breaded wings were the best in the area but the last three times as 9/2/23 have been extremely overcooked and wing quality has gone way wayyyy down to where I will never waste my hard earned money again. We also got a chicken parm sandwich that was decent but the chicken was way to fatty and more breading then meat. I will defeintly not be ordering from here again for a long time or ever again. Please stop sucking and make...
