Corner Inn — Restaurant in Upper Sandusky

I visit here about once a year when my family goes camping nearby. My three star rating is due to my most recent visit. I went there this time with my two kids (5 and 7). I asked several questions about the size of the French toast for my son but then when I ordered 3 pancakes for my daughter (the 5 year old) the waitress didn't bat an eye. She knew it was for my daughter. When the food came the pancakes were HUGE. If I gave her a third degree about the size of my son's food why didn't she tell me how big the pancakes were going to be? They were the size of an adult plate and twice as thick. I did not appreciate her not telling or informing me of how big they are. The service was pretty solid, and the food was fairly standard breakfast fare. There was nothing bad about it, but it was not quite as delicious as my family had hoped. I ordered the standard breakfast (eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast). My favorite part was the home fries; they were very tasty and cooked well, reminding me of great french fries. The scrambled eggs and sausage were both rather bland; the eggs were not seasoned at all that I could tell, which is always disappointing. Starting off my 71yr with a special day with my special guy. Oh my gosh!! We ate breakfast at the Corner Inn in Upper Sandusky! We are traveling through and saw this place on line. Little mom & pop place. (Guy from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives type of place) it was amazing! The food was amazing! All homemade!! The amount of food was incredible!
