It's a typical Americanized Mexican resturaunt. If your looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican dishes you're not young to find it here. No difference imo than any other Mexican place in this area. You won't find traditional foods or meat served here that momma cooked,( lengua,menudo,goat etc) The salsa is pretty good. Not a place I would frequent. Growing up in Chicago I'm used to traditional food and it's just not here. Not even horchata to cool you off on a hot day. Many of the locals like it here, but they're pretty limited as to their exposure of authentic Mexican food. So this is what they've grown used to. This place would have easily been 5 stars if it weren’t for the service we got. The food was really good; probably the best guacamole I’ve ever had. The server we had was actually kind of rude. When he first came up all he said was “what do you want to drink,” nothing else. Then he came back to our table 4 times within 5 minutes to ask us what we wanted to eat. We have never been there so obviously it would take time to figure it out. Then we had to ask twice for queso, and he only came back to check on us after we were finished eating. We were watching the other servers and how they interacted with their customers and it was really good, one guy ever sat down at a booth with a customer and was talking to her kid. Full service restaurant. Food and staff awesome as always. Stopped tonight to get dinner whi went to leave my car would not start. A couple of patrons who had finished dinner as well as a couple employees tried jumping my car but no luck. My daughter showed up we went and got a battery but was having trouble loosing the terminals. Couple of guys who just finished a birthday dinner with dad stopped and helped out. The owner of the restaurant checked again to see if we need anything but they had me back up and running. Thank you to the staff and owner of the restaurant and the wonderful people who helped out.
