***December 2022 UPDATE*** We came here for lunch with the kids. We were early enough to get multiple menus including the brunch menu. My one son ordered the pancakes from that menu while my wife and I had pizza and Flatbread while my other son ordered the kids Mac and Cheese with a side of French Fries. I like how every month the special menus change as well as the drink menu. My wife ordered a holiday inspired drink with lunch. I have to say everything was great and the Fries are by far the best around. We love coming here and will return again. ***July 2022 UPDATE*** My wife and I decided to come here for a dinner alone. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table so we waited at the bar until out table was ready. Drinks were good. When we finally sat we had great service from our waitress. We ordered the Salmon dinner as well as a pepperoni pizza. Both were very good just like the first time. Really enjoyed our second visit. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** We just tried The Iron Oven and it was great. We called ahead to make sure we had a table that could accommodate my grandmother who is in a wheelchair. There is handicapped parking facing street road and there is a handicapped accessible entrance in the front but the front is really the back as the host is in the back of the building. Just a little confusing but we know for next time. The staff was very friendly and they seemed to be well staffed as we saw tables being cleared as needed and food coming out fast. There was 4 adults and 2 kids in our party and the place while seemingly adult focused There were lots of kids there. The menu is extensive. Almost the entire one side is pizza, flatbreads and calzones while the other has a mix of sandwiches, soups, appetizers and entrees. Most of us ordered entrees and half ordered drinks. The drink menu is also extensive between custom cocktails, craft draft and bottles. I do wish the cocktail menu had prices but I understand prices change. They arrived quickly and were fantastic. The waitress was very friendly and had our order into the kitchen quickly. It didn't take long for food to come out. I started with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder which had big pieces of Clam and was very fresh and not super thick. We got nachos for the table and they were fresh as well with a big side of sour cream and guacamole. The dinners came out before we had finished the nachos which isn't a big deal but the table was crowded with food quickly. Everything was very good. Two of us enjoyed salmon while one had prime rib and the others had pizza. I'll say the kids pizza could feed two or three kids so keep that in mind when ordering. Altogether 4 adults and 2 kids our meal was in the $30 per person range including tax not tip. Not bad for the quality of food and the cocktails. We are definitely coming back again.

Plenty of parking in the rear. Loved the atmosphere inside. The bar/dining area we sat at was really cool. Room was sort of octagon shaped. You could see by the garage type tracks in the ceilings, that the windows all opened up in nicer weather. Take notice to the light fixtures so they don’t interfere with this. The whole area we saw was very clean. Our server was great (never got his name). Very attentive to us. There was a nice warm feeling inside. Between the wood & the lighting. Plenty of tv’s to watch your favorite game. The bar was big. The food was great. Our only slight complaint was the wait. The soups came out the same time as our meal. We were trying to hurry eating the soup a bit so that our main meal didn’t cool down much. Not a game changer for another visit though. The soups were excellent. I got the Chicken & Orzo Soup. Delicious! It wasn’t overly salty like a lot of soups tend to be. Tasted home made. The same with my wife’s French Onion Soup. And plenty of mozzarella cheese & crunchies on top. My wife & I got burgers. I had the turkey burger. It was huge!!! By the end I had to cut it with a knife & fork. Our fries were made just the way we like then. Dry & crunchy on the outside. This stop was for lunch. Portions were so good, we didn’t have to eat dinner later that night. And we couldn’t finish our whole meal. There was a whole sitting area in another room that we never got in to see. Definitely going to be a stop on our travels. Can’t wait to try some other items off their huge menu!! Such a great find!!!

I simply cannot praise this restaurant enough! Go there! Bring your friends! (I have no affiliation with the restaurant other than having a FABULOUS evening there!)

First, I'm handicapped and in a large power chair. I frequently have problems getting into places. The owners and staff at The Iron Oven went out if their way to make me feel at home. Not just welcome but like I belonged. To say I am impressed, doesn't do it justice. The owner's mother greeted me and made a space for me but, first, asked if her idea would be comfortable for me. Such consideration!

The waitress, Maureen, was AWESOME!!!! We want her every time we go. I'm sure the other waitstaff are equally marvelous but we love Maureen. She's well knowledgeable about the menu and, if she doesn't know something, she's honest about it. Trust her recommendations because she's spot on!

The food. What can I say? We ordered a lot of food. We were celebrating and we are foodies. We wanted to try a lot of different things. And ALL OF THEM were fabulous!!! Everything was prepared with care and it showed. All of the food came out hot because there is a group of young servers who bring out your food as soon as it was ready. (And, they take your empty dishes away just as quickly!) Everything, literally everything, was DE-LIC-OUS! We're gong to have a hard time on our next visit because we want to try other new things but what we had was sooooo good that we want that again as well!

Beer selection is extensive. I'm not much of a beer drinker but they have Mango Cart and that caught my attention. Tried it and fell in love! If you like mangos, you've GOT to try it! Sooo good!

Friendliness! Everyone! Besides the Marvelous Maureen, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. They work as a collaborative team. I eat at a lot of restaurants but I have never seen such cooperation, collaboration, and support for each other. It looked like they were a big loving family, not restaurant staff. We had the privilege of sitting near the kitchen so we were in the thick of it and we loved it! You learn a lot about a place when you sit near the kitchen and pay attention. We did. And we were impressed!

The owner and his parents. I hope they will forgive me because I'm having a "senior moment" and their names have slipped my mind. They were gracious, friendly, welcoming, and on top of things. You can understand why the restaurant runs so well. They know what they're doing and they're doing it well. Honestly, they should teach a class on restaurant operations!

Accessibility. I already told you how they adapted to make me welcome. Well, it didn't end there. When I came in, someone quickly helped me with the door. When I went to the bathroom, someone quickly stepped up to move a high chair that was in the way for me (wouldn't have been an issue for a smaller power chair). I didn't have to search for help. They paid attention and were ready to assist. Never in my life have I experienced such thoughtfulness from a dining establishment. AND, the owner told me that they're going to be renovating the front of the restaurant later this year to make it more accessible! (They will remain open during the renovations) I cannot wait to see it when it's done.

If you've stuck with me through this long review, know that I've only touched on the highlights. But, it boils down to this: GO THERE! The food is better than great and the service is, too! You will love it,...

I had never been to The Iron Oven before and had contacted the restaurant to see if I could put together a little party for my mama who was turning 82. They said they could have an area ready for the party of 15 for the date/time we asked which I was super happy they could accommodate. My mama is a tad picky when it comes to food. There is a lot she doesn't like, so I had definitely checked their menu prior to contacting them. The menu looked very good and seemed to have a little bit of something for everyone. Jump to the day of the party. The area they had for us was perfect. They allowed some decorations to be set up which looked super cute. My daughter and the rest of the guests showed up early as it was a surprise for my mama. She was super surprised when we arrived. Our waitress Maureen and several others helped us the entire time by clearing the tables, bringing us anything we needed and the service was just OVERALL really amazing. The food from the drinks to the apps were absolutely delicious. The pierogies, mussels and classic, mozzarella sticks and many others were so flavorful not a single person didn't agree that the apps were amazing. We then got our main dishes and they didn't disappoint either. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken as did mom we really enjoyed it. Several people had the filet and said how delicious it was too. The food was just so good. After we all finished our meals coffee was brought out for those who wanted it and out came mama's birthday cake. We sang and then had our cake. When done the cake they supplied some to go containers for take home cake as there were 15 in our party and we wanted to send some home with our family and friends. This establishment really really helped make this day amazing for my mama and all of us attending. I thank you for allowing us to have this at your restaurant and just taking awesome care of us all. We will definitely be back for family dinner and highly recommend your...
