Google Maps took me past this place on the way to the shore. I’m always looking for places off of the beaten path to try and this one definitely fit the bill. Stopped with the kids on the way home. Steady crowd of cars coming in and out. Parking could be better as backing out onto the highway afterward is not ideal.
Bought a dozen donuts. Took a $20 out of my wallet and then was shocked when the worker told me $22.50! I’ve bought plenty of dozens in my life, and this was the most expensive. I could see if I were on the boardwalk or Main Street at the shore and the owner has to make rent, but this was a house on the side of the road that’s been there forever.

The host and her daughter working there were very kind. We loved her smile. I wish this bakery is in the Cherry Hill area too. Gosh, I already miss the donut...
Read moreI have been going to Frog Hollow for probably close to 25 years. Back in the day my brother and I would stay with our grandparents at their campground in the summer and we’d always stop - and they always gave me and my brother a free sugar donut! 25 years later, anytime I’m headed down the shore, I stop to grab some pineapple cheesecake, sugar donuts, and other treats. Even if they’re closed, I stop so I can visit my favorite Donkey Jimmy! As long as frog hollow is open, I’ll be stopping that’s for sure. Can’t wait to one day bring my own...
