Advantage Sales — Local services in Upper Township

This was my 3rd and last time using the rental section of this business. The gentleman at the counter, (wish I had his name, but he has a beard and was working on 6/12/20 at 100pm) is the most miserable, unhelpful and poor attitude customer service person I have encountered in a long time. I mean come on, if you hate your job or people that much, why not work in the back or yard and away from customers. In this day and age of Customer Service, I really don't think any business can afford to provide horrible service. Honestly and without exaggeration, this guy should not be customer facing. If the owner of this business cares about their Customers, they should really work to correct this situation. As a Customer looking to spend my hard earned money, I have options and other choices, which I will now use based on this horrible service. (And again, not the 1st time having a bad experience with this employee) I would actually rate this review lower than a "1" if possible. I also see other reviews having had a poor experience as well. Be careful doing business with this organization. The owners of this location (The Tower family) also own various other local businesses including Action Supply. An Action Supply truck hit a family member’s parked vehicle in Ventnor on May 12, 2021 and caused nearly $3,000 worth of damage. There is an independent eyewitness that saw the truck hit the parked vehicle. After avoiding our calls and calls from the Ventnor Police for weeks, Tim Tower, one of the owners, did eventually tell the Ventnor Police that Action Supply did in fact have a truck drive through the exact location during the time in question but he continues to refuse to provide us or the police with the vehicle information or insurance information. We are going to have to take them to small claims court. Tim Tower has been uncooperative throughout this process while looking for any way possible to skirt his organization’s responsibility. Great store but the girl at the counter during the day with the short hair really shouldn’t be the one at the counter . She is never helpful and pretty darn rude . Yesterday going in there with one of my employees and seeing how she interacted with him and then with me it finally made it clear what her issue is .. I try to look past it , but to have a white person point it out on the ride out of there really let me see I wasnt wrong with what I thought . My thing is this , if you can’t treat everyone the same no matter who they are unless they are being extremely rude to you, then you should not be the person at the counter.
