kinda low key but the food is quite good and the staff is very nice. I got the wrong drink but the juice was good so I didn't mind. large variety in the drink menu, they even offer some non-alcoholic cocktails. there are a handful of labeled and unlabeled vegetarian options for entrees and appetizers, I got the elotes and veggie empanadas, both were good. they also have burritos, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas. some options might be vegan but you should double check. I think they have a few labeled gluten free options and unlabeled dairy free things. free chips and salsa (it's warm!), entree portions are sizeable, we all had leftovers. wish the appetizers were a bit larger as well. wasn't a fan of appetizers being put on a bed of lettuce. salads should have had some kind of dressing. would have preferred more pico, salsa, sour cream and other sauce as sides. some nice thematic decor but not overdone. as a family of migraine sufferers we were so glad to see they had dimmer lighting and the music (a lovely variety of Mexican and Hispanic songs) wasn't overly loud. their food is properly and deliciously seasoned and spiced, we are really hoping they don't go down the Cancun's in Grafton route and water down their food to appease the local populations that can't handle...
Read moreGot takeout and our dishes were so rough, I have no choice but to save someone else from spending $70 on subpar dinner. The Maya Enchilada came with grilled chicken piled top of the enchilada, which was just so far from our expectation and a typical enchilada style that it really bummed us out. The description does not include this. The mole enchiladas were so small for the cost, but unfortunately beyond that, were completely inedible. Corn tortillas were hard and rubbery, barely filled with chicken, and the sauce was bitter and tasted like melted Hershey milk chocolate. We threw the dish away. Rice was subpar and added no value to the meal, and it had peas and green bean cuts in it. Fresh guacamole was the only saving grace of our takeout order. I’d perhaps try a margarita at the bar + an appetizer if you go here, but my recommendation stops there. Also, the place was empty at dinner time (never a good sign) and the front entrance at the street is locked and blocked off — not inviting! Bummed out because I really wanted to have a great Mexican place nearby and this just totally under delivered, esp for high prices. At $20/burrito, I’m not willing to even try other dishes with how bad our first...
Read moreI'm saddened to write this because I’ve always enjoyed coming to your restaurant, especially sitting at the bar and being served by Penny, who has always been fantastic.
We chose your restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with a party of four adults and two children. Our reservation was for 6:00 PM, but unfortunately, our food did not arrive until 8:00 PM, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy—even on Mother’s Day.
What made the experience worse was the food itself. We ordered chicken fingers for the kids, which were raw in the middle. We sent them back, only to receive them undercooked again. After sending them back a second time, they came back overcooked and hard as a rock. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with hungry children at the table.
Sadly, the only compensation we received was two beers taken off our bill. Given the long wait, repeated food issues, and lack of meaningful acknowledgment, we left very disappointed. It’s unfortunate to say, but we won’t...
