Michael is a master craftsman and extremely knowledgeable about all wooden items needing repair and/or refinishing. We were amazed at the beautiful job that he did restoring our 18th century gate leg card table, which was badly warped and water damaged. Micheal not only restored the table's beautiful wood, bringing it "back to life," but he also replaced the felt on the interior of the table which had also been damaged. In addition, we had a tiger maple kitchen table top that had stains from spilled liquids, rings from hot and cold dishes that had been placed on the table's surface, and scratches that had accumulated over the years. When Micheal returned the table top to us, it had been completely restored to the table's natural beauty - not a mark, scratch or ring to be seen. With both the card table and the kitchen table top, the integrity of the wooden pieces was maintained. We are now having him repair our wooden kitchen countertops and the wooden countertops and file drawers in our den. I cannot recommend Micheal highly enough. He is honest and fair with his pricing. My husband’s late grandfather built a live wood bench that through the years had rotted and was worn out. I wanted to get it refinished for him, and wanted it done RIGHT. I was so nervous because of the sentimental value and because it was going to be a big investment. Michael was a true craftsman from the start and he put me at ease when he assessed the table. He was able to tell me details about the bench like how old the tree was and what type of wood it was made from. He was upfront about price so we wouldn’t have any surprises, he even gave us other ideas on how we could do portions of the project to save if needed. His level of detail was very assuring. The bench turned out incredible! The natural beauty shines through, and it is now on display at our new house as a focal point.
