La Michoacana Express — Restaurant in Urbana

SO. GOOD. I had never heard of it, and my daughter wanted to find a new ice cream shop other than the usuals. When I went to Google to find one, this came up and the pictures looked amazing. When we got there I couldn't believe how many different flavors of ice cream AND bars they had!! Plus all kinds of other sweet treats. And VERY fairly priced!! We cant wait to go back again!

I got strawberries and cream ice cream in a cone with chocolate and coconut around the top. My daughter got the "3 Maria". It's three scoops of ice cream (your choice! She did watermelon, strawberries n cream, and dragon fruit), topped with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherries, mnms, and sprinkles, surrounded by strawberries and bananas in a waffle cone bowl, served with a cookie stick and strawberry wafer. If we would've known it was going to be that big, we definitely would have just shared that!!! She barely made it through...

Loved this shop! It's cute and everyone is soo nice!! My favorite is the pistachio ice cream! I love it soo much that I would take an old ice cream box and get 5-6 scoops at a time, so I could have it in my freezer at all times! And they would always give me a scoop or two extra!!

This is the place I was introduced to Mango on stick, sprinkled with Tajin and drizzled with Chamoy. And OMG... I loved it! Whenever I would go to pick up my ice cream, I would grab one of these without fail.

What a fun and adorable ice cream shop! There were so many great flavors to choose from at really affordable prices! I got guava and cheese and my husband got chocolate hazelnut and pistachio! It was quiet when we came on a Friday afternoon so we were able to get great booth seats!
