Snake Creek Lodge — Restaurant in Utah

Came to Brighton for this smash burger restaurant off the Snake Creek lift and it did not disappoint! Between the two kids and I, we ordered two single smash burgers (a total skiing coup at $9.50 each!) and a mushroom and Swiss burger, and tater tots. The food was made to order, and the manager explained that their beef is fresh, never frozen, and delivered each morning. Impressive! More than that, the staff here are friendly and helpful and so welcoming to guests. We loved chatting with Chad who cleared tables and introduced us to music, and Joseph who was the daytime head of operations. Just kind, hardworking, and fun-loving souls. I can see how it could get busy during the lunch rush, but we chose to ski later and come in for a later bite (2:15, before they close at 3:00). It was great!!! The burgers and chicken tenders were great: perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The food at this lodge is much better than the other lodges — although, the new pizza is very good at the main lodge. With that being said, the queuing system is incredibly inefficient; the food line should/ could easily be flipped, to reduce the amount of choke points. You order food from a machine that asks for a tip! $10 for a small tray of tots. No fry sauce, no hot sauce, mayo empty. New building feels crowded with constant long bathroom lines down the main floor. Restroom capacity calculations must have been done by the same folks that did Solitude.
