I went to Red Owl on my bike. I really don't know much about fru fru coffee, but I'm glad my barrista did. It was early morning, and I needed a serious boost. A large latte with 5 shots of espresso was the deal. Add a little bit of vanilla, and you have a loyal customer. The price was very reasonable in comparison to the stars guys. That latte was awesome and kept me going all day. The barristas are professional and very polite. They talk with you and make sure they get you what you want. I highly recommend! And don't forget to tip. They work hard and deserve it! UPDATE: 27 May. PUP CUP Heaven! I go here regularly and went today. They hooked my Dachshund up with a pup cup which was his priority. The coffee, Amazing! The service Amazing! I have always had polite, professional service at this Red Owl. I am not an employee or hold an interest. But please tip your barista as well as you can. I only gave an overall 1 star (I did give food and service 5 stars) because although my bagel sandwich was very good and the baristas working were extremely nice, when I got home to start working I went to take a sip of my Iced Golden Owl Latte and got straight coffee grounds when I noticed this I looked at my drink and they were floating all throughout my coffee. The coffee itself tasted good, but I did have to strain it 4 times to get the majority of the coffee grounds out and even still there was coffee that had to go down the drain because I couldn't get all the grounds out. So I lost about half of my medium coffee. I just wanted to give the owner this information to have the baristas more aware if the coffee filter fails, once you add the milk you would be able to see a ton of grounds floating around and to not serve it. I have always loved little local coffee shops and supporting local so when I moved to small town Valdosta, GA. I quickly knew Red Owl was going to be a favorite! Every time I come to Red Owl I would always order 2 different drinks just to alternate my taste. First, being my iced golden owl with extra shot of espresso with oat milk … what a beautiful taste the oat milk gives this drink! Second, just an iced chai latte with shot of espresso. Anytime I come to Red Owl I love when Taylor is working she has always made my drinks to perfection. She is always so kind and sweet when I would come to the window.
