I’ve been to many Chinese buffets along with other food places and never thought to write a review. But unfortunately I felt the need to leave a not so good review on this place. I stopped in with my coworker since we’re here in Valley working for the past week and we decided to give it a break from McDonald’s. We’ve been to this place before with another coworker and we didn’t have the best experience the last time (not a big selection of foods, food lacked flavor, and undercooked chicken, which lead the three of us to getting sick the day after our visit.) My coworker and I decided to give this Chinese buffet another go thinking that this visit will be better but unfortunately it was still the same as our last visit. I’m a huge foodie and sometimes there are some food items that lack a bit of something but I’ll still finish it off. This time was NOT one of those times; I grabbed a plate and loaded it up with foods I would normally get at other Chinese buffets, sat down at the table, ate a couple bites, then got up and left. I did tip fair even though the person working at the front wasn’t the friendliest person I’ve talked to in the restaurant industry, but she may have been having an off day and I caught her at the wrong time to judge. But will I ever stop by again in the future? I will have to say no, my first visit was a few months before today and this place being the exact same isn’t giving me hope that it’ll be better later in the future. Maybe I have higher standards in Chinese buffets but with this place being an almost 5 star, it really doesn’t live up to it and I’m not sure why there are lots of...
Read moreVery disappointed, first time I went with my coworkers it wasn’t the greatest, but I figured I’d give it another shot. Chicken was undercooked and got sick the day after, my coworkers and I all got sick the next day cause of the undercooked chicken. I decided to give it another shot and didn’t even stay for 5 minutes, the lady at the front desk just stared for literally 2 minutes straight before saying a single word, staff wasn’t that friendly, food was not good, food was bland, under seasoned, the only thing that was good was the rice which is hard to mess up with a rice cooker, chicken was undercooked yet again. The quality is not worth the price of the food at all, you’re probably better off going to subway across the street cause at least you know that you won’t get served undercooked on every visit. Overall would rather lick the dirt off my shoe than...
Read moreThis a buffet style Chinese restaurant. The building is a former Pizza Hut so the immediate appearance of the restaurant is not impressive. The windows are heavily tinted so the atmosphere was dim and not super bright. Personally I prefer subdued lighting to bright lights in your face. The building was clean and the service was adequate but nothing to write home about. The food, however, was very good. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant was fairly full and the people leaving seemed to be steadily replaced by other people coming in, so it seemed to be fairly popular. Overall, this is a place that will not impress with its atmosphere or service but the food more than makes up for it. I definitely see a return visit to this place...
