Wild Willy's — Restaurant in Van Wert

My reason for 2 stars is because this is twice I've been disappointed 😞. We live about 30 min away and I love there pizza especially there taco pizza. Under different ownership the place just fell apart. Then we found out the original owners bought it back so we gave it a chance again and loved it. But now I have drove an hour out of route in my semi to meet up with my family and make the 30 min trip just to find out they are closed. Then learned that they have another place but only do carry out. We have a special needs child and carry out was not an option let alone the fact that I wanted to spend time and enjoy a meal with my family as I just spent roughly $40 in fuel to have this meal that isn't happening. I checked on line and saw nothing about another location and Facebook died today for some reason. Don't know what to say except I'm getting so sick and tired things like this becoming the norm. We ordered pizzas for my son’s rehearsal dinner and couldn’t be happier with the experience! I met with the owner beforehand, and he went out of his way to make sure we had more than enough food to feed everyone. The pizzas were delivered right on time, piping hot and fresh, with plenty of extra dipping sauces and salsa.

Every single pizza was delicious, but the chicken bacon ranch and taco pizzas were an absolute hit with the crowd! You could really taste the quality and care put into each one. A huge thank you to the owner for taking time out of his day to meet with me and ensure everything was just right — it truly was perfect.

If you haven’t tried pizza from here yet, you are seriously missing out....

Went there last night, first time going wanted to try their all meat pizza, wasn't one on the buffet so I asked if they could make one and the girl who was the cashier said yes. Waited, they brought out a Taco and a Deluxe. Finally after a half hour or longer, I asked the waitress if they were going to bring out an All Meat, she goes back and asked, the cashier never said anything. Asked if they could make one she comes back out and said they didn't have enough dough out to make plus the buffet was closed. So for almost $28 for 2 people we had 4 slices of pizza (which are cut very small) and 2 drinks. I can say we won't...
