Amazing service! I guess you could say we were blown away by the level of friendly attentive service we received on our visit. I arrived on a busy Friday evening about 6:30 with my wife and 8 year old son. It was very busy! We were greeted promptly and told that many of their guests in the restaurant side had just sat down and it could be as much as 45 minutes to wait. We told them that would be OK. We had driven a ways to get there and wanted to try it. We put our name on the list and began our wait. The three of us sat on the couch watching baseball on the bar TV and passed the time by looking over the delicious menu. After we had been sitting quite some time, the young lady who had put us on the list came over and offered us complimentary roasted nuts and apologized for the wait. There had been some guests camping at their table long after they had finished. She offered to start our drink orders which agreed to. Before we could even get our drinks a different table opened up and they had us seated immediately. Three separate young ladies came to our table at different times to apologize for the wait. That speaks volumes about their level of awareness of their business. The drinks arrives and they were great. Huckleberry drop for my wife and old fashioned for me. Both were excellent. Our order was taken promptly and came out very fast. Fried green tomatoes came out very first. My wife had fish and tots. My son had the sliders, and I had the grilled steak with corn and potatoes. Everything tasted wonderful! My steak was a unevenly cooked but the flavor was great. My sons burgers were under cooked but it was addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. Those things happen from time to time anywhere. We were all very satisfied with this experience and the wonderful people that helped us through our evening. There were a few. Very rarely you walk into a place and get that special feeling. We felt it here. For this staff to maintain that level of service on an extremely busy Friday night shows that it is natural to them and is something you can expect to receive when you choose to dine here. I have a belief about customer service and it played out here. You can go somewhere and have a meal. everything could go right and be exactly what you expected and you feel that it was decent. On the other side of the coin you could go somewhere and it doesn't go quit right. It is in those moments that you see how the business reacts to the challenge and overcomes the obstacle that could make you have a bad experience. Those are the moments, that when overcome well, creates a customer that will be more loyal, tells their friends and family and will return time and time again. They also will be inclined to tell the masses by leaving a review as I have done here. They could have let us sit alone on that couch, not acknowledged our wait time, not apologized repeatedly, not have been so friendly and personable on a busy Friday night, not checked in every 5-10 minutes, but they didn't. They were great! Kara was our server and I did not catch the other two young ladies names. I have no doubt that you will enjoy your visit no matter who helps you. We will be visiting Frontier Public House many more times in the future. This was our first time here and it was fantastic!

Thank you Frontier...

After seeing all the great reviews, decided to go there, boy was it ever a disappointment. It’s so loud in there you can’t even hear the people you’re sharing a table with!! I mean it, it was horrifically loud, like being trapped on a bus loaded full of teenage girls fangirling out on their way to a Justin Beiber concert!!

For appetizers, we got the onion rings and chicharrones, which were good, so hence the two stars, everything else was abysmal. A watered down margarita, the Lime-in-the-coconut, which was a laughably small cocktail with a very short pour for $9.50.

One person in our party had the fish and chips and it was the smallest sliver of fish between 3/4 to 1-inch in width, covered in a literal quarter to half-inch of batter, so it was slightly crispy on the outside and, wet and soggy on the inside with just barely cooked through fish because the batter insulated it so well. Another in our party had the chicken club, they said it was alright, except for the super chewy bacon and the ridiculously small wedge salad for the side. Like seriously, it was the smallest sliver of lettuce, 1/32nd of a head of iceberg, with 6 tomatoes, dressing with 4 crumbles of bleu cheese, and not one piece of bacon in sight. Considering how chewy it was on the sandwich was probably a blessing in disguise. I kid you not. Super-mini wedge. With cuts like that, they can make a head of lettuce last a week. I had the Macfredo. Soggy, over cooked pasta that fell apart with this tasteless orange colored sauce, really, it didn’t taste like anything. It was like a roux made with old flour and unsalted butter and in place of the cheese they put in some skim milk and food coloring. It was topped a minuscule dusting of breadcrumbs, and an unseasoned, thin, 1/4 breast of chicken. I don’t think they salted the pasta water, or anything else.

Seriously, my level of disappointment cannot...

We wanted to try something new on our day off. Waited for a long time for our appetizers to come out, in that time, an entirely new group of customers sat down, ordered, recieved their drinks and then their meals, before we'd gotten any food. I ordered hot wings, somehow three of the(6? Not many) wings had bone splinters in it and barely any sauce. I didnt complain about it, I chalked it up to the risk of ordering food I've never tried. I then got avocado toast with an egg on it, a special. The tomatoes looked old, and there was a sauce on it that tasted sour, like lemon juice and pickles, not good. I figured since I'd be paying for it regardless, I might as well eat it anyway. I'd almost finished it when I found a black spot of mold on one of the tomatoes, and the sandwich had been stacked in a way that the black spot was hidden beneath the other tomato! It's one thing to miss something, and another to intentionally hide it. We showed the chunk of moldy tomato, and she was kind enough to remove it from the bill. My girlfriend ordered fish and chips with an additional fish filet, but didnt recieve the extra filet. We decided we didnt want it, and figured they wouldn't charge us for it, but they did. At that point, my girlfriend didnt want anymore conflict, so we just left, but we were very disappointed and felt that as hard as we work for our money, it was disrespectful to treat the food we're paying for that way. Waitress was nice, but we...

Truly some of the best food I’ve gotten to comfortably enjoy eating out in along time, and I’ve munched on the waterfront restaurants too~ this food is so clean, Refreshing, crisp and fresh.. my friend got the wedge salad with a side of steak it was so beautifully cooked and the salad was leaf by leaf rubbed with one of the most creamy, beautiful chunked bleu cheese dressing I’ve ever ate, not stinky and not abrasive and i’m not a bleu cheese type of gal, I ordered a wedge as a side for my juicy cheese burger~ no burger buns tonight but truly it was SO MUCH BETTER with the lovely weirdly perfectly toasted Rye bread (sour dough was an option too and probably would have been great too!) and I added a medium over egg on top. Absolutely up my alley, I live 3 min walking distance and will be back because this food is seriously crave-able & classy (casual though too at the same time?) haha . !!! One thing I wished for was a gentle cozy music in the background like Mumford sons or alternative in the like. Maybe maroon 5, Other than that 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is an interesting place. The location is quite strange. Unless somebody tells you about it, you won’t even know it’s there. The building looks kind of old and out of date from the outside. Once you’re inside, it’s a little bit hard to figure out what kind of place it is. There are antlers on the wall, so if you don’t like that, don’t come here. Lots of warm-colored wood decor. Rustic. Prices are average. The food is good. Typical American fare, whatever that is. I had a burger when I was there and it was ... a burger. It was pretty good. The sign at the front tells you there is live music at different times. It’s one big room, so the bar and the restaurant are attached. It’s family friendly. The thing that set apart for me was the service. Our server was amazing. Our food was delivered quickly. We were constantly checked on. Our server didn’t bother us with too much small talk. It was just right. There was a TV above our heads with some sports. I will return.

This used to be a shady bar where you'd go at 1am for fights, drugs or both. It's been totally overhauled into a fantastic little pub. Great food and service. A TV in the corner with the game going- but not so loud it's distracting. The menu is Southern leaning. We ordered onion rings, wedge salad, sausage poppers, fried oysters and pork rinds. They were all fresh and fantastic- and given much of the order was fried, it wasn't one of those things were all the deep fired food tasted like chicken or fish. The sauces on the side were fresh and tasty too. A reasonable selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks at regular prices available. The staff were all friendly and not overbearing. We found our new favorite neighborhood eatery. Can't wait to go back and try the stuff we didn't.
