Headed out with some work friends for a few happy hour beers. This place is super close to our homes and always wanted to try. Have been tot the downtown location and love their beer. Well, beer was as good, try the oye como va! We order snacks. Love the fries and the pork tacos. Springs rolls were ok and so were the drumsticks. Food came out quick and service for both beer and food was great. Large and open outdoor space. With plenty of seating. Tables are spaced really far apart so plenty of room. Parking is tight in the paved lot but they have a gravel area behind that has plenty. I would recommend stopping by and checking it out.

FINALLY found a peanut butter stout, a blonde coffee stout, and smoothie sours all in the same place! Ordered the beyond burger with regular fries and a side of ketchup. Then later the side of mac and cheese which was pretty spicy. Flight 1: Old Timber Nut Brown, Cosmic Impact Coffee Blonde, Hefeweizen, Heathen Lager, Strawberry Lemonade smoothie sour, Triple Berry Crunch sour, and Peanut Butter Stout. Flight 2: Badlands Pilsner, Apple Crisp cider, Tiki Time sour, milk stout, Mexican Lager, and the triple berry and coffee stout again. Worth a visit if you want variety outside of 10 IPAs and something light.

Stopped by for lunch on our way through to Portland. We had a great experience, food was fast and very tasty. The service was great and incredibly friendly. They have a big selection of beers and ciders on tap, with a good selection of canned drinks to take with you. They have incredible artwork on all the doors inside and out. We will definitely be stopping by again when we have the chance.

I have been returning to heathen brewing (open thurs-sat afternoons) whenever I am in Vancouver. They have absolutely mastered the art of creating a fantastic variety of beers. Usually it seems a brewery will dominate at one genre and surround it with some average supporting cast members. Heathen on the other hand have range. The Transcend IPA is one of the best beers I will ever enjoy (though make sure it's crystal clear ) it is balanced and full. Their RIP porter is similarly full flavored without being heavy, very easy to session which is hard to find. The barrel aged stout is also one of my repeat favorite buys. They are endlessly trying new brews and variations which means there is always something new to try. Service is great as are the prices. Growler fill to barrel purchase. This is not the bar location which is in...

There's not much good I can say about this place. While the burger I ate wasn't horrible, the service and attitude of the staff was pitiful. I don't think I saw a smile on one person's face that works there. As the server brought our food out, he dropped one of the entrees all in our diaper bag, my son's coat and all over my shoes. Besides a quiet, "sorry bro", there was no offer to help clean it up. There was ketchup all over my shoes and my son's coat and diaper bag were covered in grease. He left the mess where it was and had the chef remake the order. I know this is one person's bad experience, but when I worked in the food service industry, if I caused a mess around customers, I would clean it up right away and offer more than a skaters apology. I can safely say I will not be returning...
