Grant Avenue Coffee Co — Restaurant in Vandergrift

Update: Owner response completely missed the point. She shooed me out the door when I wanted to sit down and enjoy my food there. Most certainly not coming back now.

I came here one day in the morning because I saw a delicious drink on their Facebook page and wanted to get. When I went in there one of the owners was working the counter. She seemed nice. I ordered my coffee while making small conversation with her ordered a brownie too. I was standing over by the "pick up your order" area and she had forgotten my brownie. The barista asked if there was anything else I needed and I said my brownie and the owner apologized for her forgetting. As she was putting my brownie into the bag, I told her she didn't have to do that as I was planning on sitting down there and enjoying my coffee. Grant Ave Coffee is the perfect spot in downtown Vandergrift, and it is exactly what old steel towns need to revitalize the community! The coffee is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the owners are engaged and community-oriented, and the store front is welcoming and incredibly warm. So, stop in, grab a seat or a stool, order some baked goods and some coffee, get some work done or reconnect with a friend, check out an event, and celebrate downtown...

Olmstead, sleigh all the way, and cinnamon rolls! Love the shop and the owners are so fun and sweet! Love seeing strong business women in charge! All the employees are so friendly as well. Would love to see more breakfast sandwich selection, something fresh cooked or heated up in toaster oven. I know space is not the best for that but if they had a breakfast option it would be out...
