I understand the entire service industry is suffering because people do not want to work which leads to understaffing. I applaud the workers here who actually want to work and not just sit home. Kudos to you!
With that being said, this McD has the slowest, most inattentive and non-customer friendly people working. Of course, there are definitely exceptions, but for the most part I hate coming in here, and only do when I don't feel like driving out of my way to Monaca.
I can't count how many times I have gone in, stood at an empty front counter, and waited for someone to take my order. It is the rule rather than the exception. Many workers look up, walk by, and see me, including managers (one in particular) and do not say a word to me. A simple recognition such as "someone will be right with you" goes a long way. But no, nothing.
I was in the other night and there was a man in front of me giving his order. I stood directly behind him in line. There was no doubt I was a customer waiting to order. After the man gave his order and I moved to the counter, the young girl working (who honestly seemed a bit sky high), turned and walked toward the drive thru, took a mop from another worker, and started mopping in the kitchen SHE NEVER SAID A WORD TO ME. I caught the manager's eye and asked "Where did she go?, I was standing right here and she walked away." The manager didn't say a word to me, merely told a worker by name to go to the counter. WTH???

Read moreAs of Oct. 26 the last time I was there, I probably had the worst service I've ever received from a Mcdonalds. You can tell every single employee is not comfortable with the change. You can tell the managers have not trained them at all on the new building. Either they are scrambling like a chicken with their head cut off, or the staff are just standing around and staring at the customers from the front of the house. Not even working or cleaning? People get payed to stand now? Two cashiers on ONE cash register, and neither of them knew how to use it and had to call over a manager because of poor training. The manager was also so rude to those cashiers. And those kiosks, ugg, are probably the stupidest invention of the 21st century. Why would i order and get right back in line so i can pay?? Whats the point of the kiosk? There is none. Its stupid. And if you ignore the kiosk and get in line, you'll have groups of douchebags and old lady's just cut you anyways. I ordered a 10 pc nuggets and fries, and both tasted like they were fairly old with old grease in the fryer, but it was lunch time, and they're fairly busy, so I don't blame them. I have had similar issues with many other McDonald's locations so I've come to expect less for my dollar, especially when all I see is kids behind the counter. I guess I should've ordered a burger. I'm not mad, it's just what I've come to expect anymore. This location is usually good, or at least above average, but it's hit and miss depending on the traffic. I don't like to give poor reviews, so I won't give 1 or 2 star reviews to anyone unless the food or customer service is REALLY bad, but I hope that y'all can take what I've said and attempt to improve on the quality...
