I was skeptical about having Chinese food in Puerto Rico. I heard hosts in different local radio stations mention how Chinese food is different in PR and it made me curious to try. I'm not sure where the best Chinese food may be on the island and in which pueblo or municipio, but I can tell you that Hong China, my first time trying Chinese-Rican was a great experience. I had the peppered chicken (which is NOT the typical peppered chicken you find at Panda Express and others). This chicken has its own delicious sauce which greatly complements the fried rice that comes with it. Also comes with French fries, or you can substitute.
The Chicken Chop-suey with mofongo! WOW! This was a great combination. Mofongo is nicely seasoned and food portions are HUGE! Give this local restaurant a try. Trust me, you won't regret it. They have other items on the menu. They say they're known for their ribs (although I didn't try them, the reviews I read do recommend the ribs!)
