I will start by saying that the place was empty and I was surprised. At first I thought oh man I hope it's good. Well I can assure everyone it's great. Employees are very kind and very friendly. The music was great at least to me because it wasn't loud and there were nice choices of music like reggae, old rock and even some freestyle from the 80s. Now to the important part, my wife ordered coconut strawberry mojito and it was perfect, she loved it, not too sweet, fresh fruit, good amount of rum, no crushed mint leaves to have to dig out of your mouth. I had beer and they were perfectly cold. We went there for pizza but ordered fried cheese and some wings. The cheese was perfect and good size and the guava sauce was really good, not watered down like other places I've been. The wings I ordered with BBQ sauce on the side. Honestly my wife ate them without the sauce because they were so well seasoned. I dipped them in the sauce and I think it might have been homemade because it was really good. Then the pizza. A small pepperoni. It was thin, crispy, and had a perfect amount of sauce and cheese. I complimented the waitress and she said they make their own crust and sauces. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sharky’s restaurant in Vega Alta, PR, and it blew me away. It was my first time back in my birthplace after twenty years, and I was craving some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Let me tell you, Sharky’s did not disappoint. The Mofongo with fried pork was absolutely divine, taking me right back to my roots with every bite. My partner went for the Mofongo with Shrimp, and it was clear that the chef knew their stuff, blending fresh seafood with classic island flavors flawlessly. We also tried their thin crust pizza, which was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. And of course, we couldn't pass up on a Piña Colada—it's a Puerto Rican staple, after all. Amazing staff and food. My boyfriend and I went for dinner and the staff treated us so nice, like we were regulars. The beers are ice cold, I got a frappe and the presentation was beautiful! We also got the jalapeño poppers and they were delicious, they came with three dipping sauces, sweet chili Thai (never going to lose there), a cilantro (YUM), and the famous ketchup mayo (can’t go wrong there either); my boyfriend got steak and Mofongo while I got a carbonara calzone both were beautiful when they came out of the kitchen and they tasted just as good.
